I think everyone is entitled to their opinion on the drama. I would be the last person to question why someone feels the way they do about it. If someone felt it went downhill and was terrible, that's valid. If someone thinks the overall experience was amazing, that's valid, along with all the other opinions people may have.

My advice: I think there's a general agreement that the beginning of the drama read more was strong. Watch it. If you get to the point where you're starting to doubt if you should continue or not, then make your decision and drop it or watch on. There's a reason people are talking, and people are angry. There are various reactions, but they're all strong reactions. Love it or hate it. I think that's the magic. So to new viewers, give it a chance and see where you stand.

To me this drama meant something. I could relate to it on so many levels and became really invested in the story and the characters. It's not the drama you can just watch and feel good about. It makes you think. Who are these people? Why do they act this way? It will make you laugh, cry, squeal, squirm, and rage. It's a slice of life drama, but(!) that's not to say that people who want to escape reality and dream of a happy romance won't be happy.

Again, just watch it. See why it's got everyone riled up, and where you stand. If that's not enough, it's got a kick-ass soundtrack, gorgeous actors and actresses portraying all sorts of personalities, and great wardrobe to inspire your outfits!

An extremely realistic, slice-of-life drama depicting a love story in the context of university life. This drama does not make use of usual plot devices (e.g. cross-dressing) nor dramatic incidents (e.g. amnesia), but manages to channel a very well thought-out storyline. Kim Go Eun executed a stellar performance here, channeling the pragmatic, down-to-earth yet flawed personality (in some aspects) of Seol, allowing the audience to relate to her easily. The engimatic character read more Yoo Jung, played by Park Hae Jin will only encourage you to keep watching, for you to find out his true self. Seo Kang Joon was intensely immersed in his role as well, and I truly enjoyed his performance here! A special mention goes out to Eun Taek and Bora (played by Nam Joo Hyuk and Park Min Ji respectively) - I loved their side love story and it was the sweetest thing ever! :)

The soundtrack was the best I could hope for, with the main bulk of it being K-Indie, which was absolutely fitting for the atmosphere created by the drama.

A pity that the drama experienced some controversial issues over the directing as well as bad publicity from the original webtoon - this could be attributed to the mishandling of the issue by the PD, plaguing the last few episodes of the production and generating a slew of negative and angry feedback by the viewers. Despite these setbacks, this drama was truly a great reflection of reality - the troubles and setbacks one would face, the workings of the inner mind, the suspicion of other individuals, and a whole lot more. Definitely worth a watch!

Both dramas are refreshing and both deal with different aspects of life rather than only concentrating on the main couple.

The feeling is the same in both dramas. They make us wonder if the male lead is good or bad and both keep us at the edge or our seats with suspense!

(In my opinion) One of the most memorable slice of life series I've watched.

I felt the connection from every character. It reminded me of my university life, the many colors of every people I've met during those days, the triumphs of hard work, struggles, drama and so on.

Those who have read the webtoon might dislike this drama series. But since I decided to keep an open mind, I enjoyed the series until the end. Yes, until the end.
The ending expressed what most graduates will feel/felt or a person who decided to close one chapter of their life. It's like the writer and director were conveying TS.Eliot's quote:

“What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from.”

This was a pretty good drama, a realistic approach to the whole dating and romantic stuff, I guess, but it also had a sort of strange and mysterious feeling to it, which I personally enjoyed. It both intrigued and puzzled me -in a good way- the main lead's psycho, peculiar behaviour and his strategies when dealing with certain situations. What disappointed me was the final, but I think it might depend on everyone's individual preference and interpretation.

What a strange, strange drama. Cheese in the trap started off with such a different, eary and chilly feel, which indicates brilliant acting from the leads and supporting siblings. However, you soon start to feel that the brilliant acting from the leads is downplayed because of the lack of character development. It made me really appreciate the importance of Baek InHo and Baek InHa's predicament which ended up in happiness and self-fulfilment.

They go from having growing pains to finally being able to detach themselves and start new lives in the final episode, the leads however, had an unsatisfactory ending. I usually like to be objective and don't really mind how the ending is, as long as the characters THEMSELVES find self-fulfilment at the end. This leads me to wonder what the entire point of the past 15 episodes was while watching episode 16.

So for all those complaining that the supporting Baek In Ho as a supporting character got way to much screen time, I am very satisfied with the outcome at least. My time watching his dilemmas was not wasted, because he eventually found his passion again, even his sister had a new beginning.

I've watched enough K-Dramas to figure out all the genres and what is most enjoyable or appealing to me and what genres I need to give more of a chance to because I surprisingly end up enjoying things I thought I would drop. I really wanted to get into more eary and chilly dramas, but this one just couldn't do it for me.

Shout out to everyone who liked it though, everyone is entitled to their own favorite shows!

Definitely got second lead syndrome with this drama. Come on, how can you deny baek in hos hilarious character. Yoo jung was quite a scary character but still great nonetheless . And can we please applaud the stylist for Hong seols beautiful wardrobe.

After episode 11 or 12 Park Hye Jin rarely on the scene. Season 2 would be the best suggestion for this drama, because even if the ending was realistic I really can't be happy about it.

This had such an amazing start, I really thought it would become one of my favorite dramas, but everything went downhill after episode 12, and that ending... Ugh.

To me the webtoon was terrible. I only started to re-read it because i love the drama just to see how it would end but its becoming a chore. The drama is not bad as people making it out to be, the acting by the main leads was awesome and i found the plot interesting. I wish they did put more info about him, but considering this was a 16 ep drama (with an ongoing webtoon) it would be difficult. My suggestion would of been to make another season of it or expand the episodes. But i would still recommend this.

Inho is one of the best characters i have seen; he showed great development and emotions...
A drama remake or adaptation doesn't have to be exactly the same as the original, it should tell the story from a different light or point of view...

Started out great and then mid-way thru the drama writer (dw) must gotten second lead syndrome or something weird happened. The dw went totally off script, so much so that she pissed off the web-toon writer, so don't expect a 2nd season people... too bad.
