I watched this drama after having seen the anime. I really admired the anime for being humorous and a bit different to others in the vibe it gave off.

The drama cannot say the same. It's not that I expected a lot from the drama, and it also isn't that it was awful. It was pretty, systematic and easy to follow. The production was of a good quality and some of the read more scenes featured some seriously nice use of eye-candy.

My problem with this comes primarily from the fact that it was not at all memorable. It didn't make me think, but more than that, it didn't make me feel. I never felt the relationship between the leads (although occasionally the other boys had bonding type moments).

This was the first anime with Kazuya Kamenashi in it, and I have to say, every other drama of his I have ever seen has been better than this, at least for his part. I felt his portrayal of the lead character was more wooden than a tree, which led me to believe he could not act. I have since watched other things that lead me to believe this is not the case, which makes me wonder if a poor script/storyboard was to blame.

Anyway, as mentioned, I don't dislike this drama, it's just that I got nothing from it aside from an awesomely hilarious opening song and prettiness. And honestly, what's not to love about a bit of prettiness?

Don't know anything about the anime/manga but I was able to enjoy this drama. I specifically like the concept of the drama about physical appearances and how the main leads portrayed their roles and the way they compliment each other. Kamenashi Kazuya is the stand out here but I also commend the girl who acted Sunako. The music is just perfect especially the theme song 'Love Yourself' by KAT-TUN. It may not read more give a lasting impression but it sure is one of the enjoyable dramas for me that I was able to finish fast and didn't get bored. I was able to discover KAT-TUN through this drama. It is an inspiring romantic comedy that gives you time to reflect to 'what's really inside you'. I love how the two main leads compliments each other. They're 'perfect'

Four Beautiful guys! One arrogant and stubborn man. Although the storyline is way different you would love Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. The Comedy and love story is brilliant. Both stories tell you about what it means to be rich or poor, having a personality over beauty. It's a most see!

while the story lines are entirely different, both the female leads are extremely antisocial and try to avoid leaving their homes as much as possible.
both a great watch!

It's a good adaptation of the manga/anime imo. I love the cast esp Kame, it was a good fun drama to watch. Bit ott and weird at times but that's what I love about Jdramas =)

I'm watching this again. Everything is great but the little kid Takeru is annoying as hell (and I usually like kid actors :D).

Kamenashi Kazuya and me are not very good friends usually, but I don't know, I came to like him in this drama. Well, the plot is a little far-fetched : a women who will come to live with 4 ikemen ... I would like to be real but it isn't right ? But Sunako is hilarious and just for her it's worth it!

Anyway, it is far-fetched but it is not a big deal because it's why we want to watch it : because it will never happen *laugh*

This was such a good drama. Light and fun to watch, some great little lessons to learn and you can't deny the eye candy - easily one of the best looking casts in my drama experience (yes, to me, they even beat the Korean F4).
And even me, the grand lover of all things in a love triangle, found this drama refreshing with all the romances for each of the boys. The ending made me smile :)
    Highly recommended!
[PS. Busunako, Busunako, BUSUNAKO! Can't get that out of my head!]

To think if I hadn't watched the Anime so many years ago I might not have found out about the live-action leading to Dramas.
Even now after watching loads of dramas I still love this so much :) Only drama I can ever re-watch :D
