This is just as good as the anime, and manga. I am so happy This exsists. If you've seen the anime or read the manga, you know how the story goes. But don't let the fact that this is a live action discourage you! Please check this out I promise you wont be dissapointed :)

The reason I gave this drama a perfect 10 out of 10 is because this truly is read more one of the best dramas I have ever seen. Never in my life have a seen a live action done so perfectly, I dont even feel like its just a drama. While watching this, don't be surprised if you occasionally shed a tear, wheather it be from saddness or full on laughter. The acting in the drama is done so well it feels as if you are actually there, like its not even scripted. (Except for the intense humor. I doubt such funny things could happen in real life xD) I hope you do find the show as entertaining and heartwarming as I did :)

Being a fan of the anime and the manga, I was looking forward to watching this drama. and surprisingly as I often am, I was not disappointed. I felt that the actors played the characters exceptionally well. Some people would say that the main couple were too ackward but I disagree it's suppose to be like this. Sunako doesn't know how to handle romantic relationships especially with someone so "Bright" I was read more impressed with Oomasa Aya acting capabilities when it came to playing her. I was also impressed by Kamenashi Kazuya he tooked his character in a different direction then I was expecting him too.
The one thing I can say I was disappointed in was the fact that Oda and Noi's relationship wasn't showned much in this version. Especially since Noi and Sunako become very close friends in the manga.
But other then that I loved this drama. I recommend people to watch this. they won't be disappointed.
Happy Watching Everyone! :)

Kamenashi Kazuya is the least they have in common.

Two good shows. That don't just happen in life, they teach a bit about life. A ghost-looking being temporarily transformed into a female almost-socialite. Can get you emotional. About friendship, less, or more. Includes some comedy and some heaviness. The obvious thing - it really is two shows with the 'makeover' premise. NwP has a Mr Popular character and in YNSH there's a four-piece set of downright princes. Kamenashi's character is a partial jerk in both. Both the girls rock as they are. Youth. I just want you to watch both shows.

Differences:
YNSH is a bit more straightforward with the romance (plus there is "supporting love"; but generally, it doesn't feel *that* much like there's more)
while Sunako is kind of annoying, Nobuko is a more pure spirit
what can I say, YNHS has all those skulls and chocolate, NwP has an absolutely wonderful ..alien? called Akira ..
NwP is a bit more serious

Two gothy shows that are more swift-paced than not, with some relative action-action too and obviously with some humour, based on even gothier manga (cue the art). ...

I'm surprised no one recommended it yet.

Maybe lack of gothy mentality? :D

Both heroines are... obstinate. In their own ways.
..
And did I mention cute clothes happen?

I so wanted to give this much higher, but could only give it a 7, and that was for the lowlife scum pigass bastard Morii Ranmaru for whoring around with a married woman, and she was even more of a lowlife scum swine slut whore, no other polite words for her, she's a real capital C___!!! Go get a divorce. Once again a drama has shown a REAL woman, her truest form, betrayal and infidelity, best at being cruel, cunning, and crafty, like Suzu chan, women are so at the best and being the best when it comes to cruelty, us men will never EVER come close to be on the same level as women when it comes to cruelty, especially against their own kind, Women are just the UTMOST best in causing hurt and pain, THE BEST!!! I would have rated this much lower than a 7 for the cheating whore, and the Slut bastard, but the writer so knows a woman of her truest form, and so that credit brought it up to 7... Liked everything else otherwise... :)))

It's a good adaptation of the manga/anime imo. I love the cast esp Kame, it was a good fun drama to watch. Bit ott and weird at times but that's what I love about Jdramas =)

I'm watching this again. Everything is great but the little kid Takeru is annoying as hell (and I usually like kid actors :D).

Kamenashi Kazuya and me are not very good friends usually, but I don't know, I came to like him in this drama. Well, the plot is a little far-fetched : a women who will come to live with 4 ikemen ... I would like to be real but it isn't right ? But Sunako is hilarious and just for her it's worth it!

Anyway, it is far-fetched but it is not a big deal because it's why we want to watch it : because it will never happen *laugh*

This was such a good drama. Light and fun to watch, some great little lessons to learn and you can't deny the eye candy - easily one of the best looking casts in my drama experience (yes, to me, they even beat the Korean F4).
And even me, the grand lover of all things in a love triangle, found this drama refreshing with all the romances for each of the boys. The ending made me smile :)
    Highly recommended!
[PS. Busunako, Busunako, BUSUNAKO! Can't get that out of my head!]

    First Drama :')
To think if I hadn't watched the Anime so many years ago I might not have found out about the live-action leading to Dramas.
Even now after watching loads of dramas I still love this so much :) Only drama I can ever re-watch :D
