First of all, I am going to state my opinions in this comment....So, please do not take offense.
They are just my observations...Thank you in advance for your kind consideration.
I have watched Fated To Love You in both the Taiwanese & Korean versions...and am definitely looking forward to this Thai version.
That being said, let me say that I LOVE the Korean version the best so far. The Taiwan version was decent, but it had too many situations in it that were a bit overboard and just made the drama more silly & longer than necessary. I liked the K version due to the more melodramatic moments that were executed by the great acting from the cast... Yet, there was enough comedy to alleviate the drama to make it an awesome series.
The lead actors & actress' in both versions are great....But Jang Hyuk & Jang Na Ra have an unexplainable chemistry that carried out thru the series. Jang Hyuk-what can I say!...I just love this actor-the Best of the Best!...His loud laughter made his character unique to say the least. You figure out that it will hide many emotions that he is wanting to hide and also portray. At first it can be distracting, but then you come to love it!
Jang Na Ra has the ability to portray a very young & innocent face with emotions that need no words. Her crying & pain filled scenes are one of the best that I have seen in this industry. I must also include that Jang Hyuk has some tearful scenes that just broke my heart.
Both versions have a 2nd male lead that tend to lead you to have 2nd lead syndrome. I hope that the Thai version will give us just as strong of a 2nd lead, because this is what makes the series even more worthy to watch.
The second leads in both versions make you feel that it would be ok for the lead actress to end up with them instead of the lead actors. The 2nd leads portrayed an aloof, but kind hearted, supporting & loving figure for the lead actress. They are a man's man & a woman's dream. Hopefully, the Thai version of the 2nd male lead will be just as awesome as the previous versions.
Also, I must say that the 2nd male lead's proposal with the sand art in the K version, is the most touching & sweetest proposal ever! Just thinking about it makes me sooooo emotional...(It should be in the last 5 minutes of the 14th episode.)
I like the leads in the Thai version, which is another reason that I am looking forward to that series.
The OST in the K version was Outstanding!....I loved it!...Someone had mentioned in a comment that they were annoyed with the words translating on the screen from the song. I for one am very glad that the lyrics were translated on the screen. It makes you understand what the song is about and how appropriate it is to the scene. In other words, it made it more emotional for me.
I have watched both the Taiwan & Korean versions more than once....The K version is one of my "go to series" when I want to watch a series that I know I will like and can watch quickly (since I know what parts I can skip) :)
So, definitely watch both versions & don't let any comments divert you from watching any version available. Enjoy! :)
watched trailer on facebook somewhere and wow. Looks lovely and bittersweet so much like original taiwanese version i have to watch this hope i will be stil alive until that air time lol XD... they have chemistry even if it was such short scenes yas *-*
OMG I can't wait! I can watch this story over and over again in different languages and adaptions! I'm sure this will be great as well! (Thai dramas are great with adaptions~) And so the wait begins...
