This drama is all about 2 key things 1)Love & learning how to love 2) growing up to become person you need to be, confidently. The subject was sensitive YET handled deftly by the GHJ & GY and cast who portray degrees of a relationships & shades of love. Lots of tears shed while watching with many of the sub-stories impacting youths, family, and schools and the yearning love of the GY...Funny, read more so many times we get caught viewing today though regrets glasses we cannot look ahead to see the things facing us cause we are wearing the wrong glasses. GREAT drama for all who love good story telling, electric chemistry, well placed sound-tracks or having GHJ - MSun withdrawal. Just get some tissues ready, you will cry...

The main reason I watched this show was to watch the relationship between Gong Yoo and Gong Hyo Jin. Gong Yoo is easily one of my favorite actors, especially because of his acting in Coffee Prince, one of my ultimate fave kdramas . Gong Hyo Jin has become one of my favorite actresses, after I watched The Greatest Love and masters sun. When I found out that they had a drama together, read more I HAD to watch it.

The only reason why I continued to watch this show was because of them. I had the hardest time liking the second lead, hyun woo. As much as I thought it was cute that she really loved her teacher, and the teacher shared the same feelings, it got REALLY WEIRD. What teacher (SPOILER ALERT) keeps albums and paintings of their students for six years? He was really obsessive, and controlling. The step mom of Tae-in was just as annoying.

The side stories with the students were nice. While some seemed ridiculous and corny ( as someone mentioned) some was nice to see Bo Ri grow as a teacher. She had heart, and cared for her students so much, as if she was their friend.

All in all, all the scenes with Tae in and Bo Ri is the only reason why I gave this show an 8. They has so much chemistry , especially in the end. If you took them away as the main lead, but kept the rest of the story/cast, I would have given it a 6.

Both dramas are about a male student falling madly in love with a female teacher.
Romance is more on the taboo side about teacher x student relashionship while Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy is more about the romantic feeling of the young student.
Side stories also preventing them to be together :
- Romance : the woman's family is responsible for the boy's father suicide.
- BT&SC : the teacher is romantically involved with a co-worker, who happens to be the boy's uncle.

both tackle school life and the love triangle between two teachers and a student. Though Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy narrates a more serious and mature tale.

If you don't like it and you think its stupid, then drop it. Easy peasy. There's no way they can change it since it done 9 years ago. I know its your opinion but commenting like that this drama is the worst of the worst even though some people loved it, you're just ruining it for someone like me who haven't watch it yet.

It is listed on "asiatorrents.me" with English subs under the name "Hello My Teacher" around 4.3 GB. It might be worth checking it out. I'm currently watching this. Now I'm at 9th episode.

One of my most favourite romantic comedies. There are so many cute moments, that you can't count:) My favourite Gong yoo's role too. One thing to mention is also the OSTs, if there are 20 in it, they are all nice and really give a great atmosphere to the drama. If you love romcoms, watch it, and if you don't watch it anyway:) It's a great drama:)

dropped after 3rd episode, i understand that 2nd female lead has to be a pathetic, clingy cunt without any self-respect, but there should be some limits, this one was way too much for me

Yeah well, the f'in writers need to change the story more so that the f'in lead female/2nd lead romance changes and real fast, just plain utter stupidity and despicable... And they call this a romance????? F'IN bullshit is what it is!!!!!!
