First, the previous reviews and comments do NOT give this enjoyable film credit it is due. This movie is about adults living their dreams as a family, couple, and individual while struggling everyday life issues.
The storyline line was easy-breezy, not heavy just right.
The actors perfect. Female lead is a good actress-beauty &brains;. The husband was perfect cast - not drop dead handsome, just like able and real.
Overall, if you're read more looking something that's just fun, engaging, solid storyline, lots of dancing, laughs & tears, watch DQ.

when i first saw um jung hwa in "the man who cant marry" i was dissapointed and hated her character because she was a grown woman who was acting like a teenager and was unconvincing too. being the main lead in this movie and having a role of a kpop idol made her acting better since she cant fake the body, dances and overall.the husband/mayor was really awsome. he was very believable read more from the beginning and he portrayed the character best. towards the end we wanted to know what the moral thing was when he was running for mayor while his wife is in a kpop group shaking her ass. his response to it was tear jerking and i felt his pain. theres some funny moments here and there when the wife is trying to audition without telling the husband

Uhm Jung Hwa also stars in this movie about a housewife who wants to pursue her dreams. Both movies have a similar vibe -- showing the struggle between the life you thought you wanted vs the life you have.

Absolutely LOVED every second of this movie!!! Hwang Jeong Min and Uhm Jung Hwa were excellent in their roles and portrayal of a married couple have once again found their dreams and don't give up! I also REALLY loved how they used their actual names for this movie!!! :D Hwang Jeong Min's character and dream reminded me a lot of Jung Jae Young in 'Assembly' :D I really like that! and Jung Hwa was so good at wanting to pursue her dream of being a dancing singer ^_^ Such a feel-good romantic, dream inspired movie!!! Highly recommend it! Loved one thing the manager of HJM said: "Those "trashy" dramas usually get high ratings." XD hehehe perfect timing dude! ;) I laughed so many times while watching this too :P Very touching and worth all the time spent on it! These are the kinds of movies I adore watching Hwang Jeong Min in!!! He's just PERFECTLY SPLENDID in these kinds of films :D :D :D As is Uhm Jung Hwa ;)

Forgettable. I started watching this movie and it took me until adding it to my list to realize that I'd seen it before. "Hey, I guess some of those scenes WERE kinda familiar...."

Loved it! Loved it! Loved it! Uhm Jung Hwa was in amazing shape!!! Guess she was 37 when she made this movie which says a lot about her cardiovascular health at that time! Hwang Jung Min was superb in his part also. I had tears of joy every time he spoke he spoke... If you haven't seen this movie, it's a Must See. Don't Miss It! Enjoy every minute from beginning to end as I did ... ;)

I thought it was enjoyable. They spent maybe too much time on the back story. I would have loved more of the dancing/singing but I agree, the last 15-20 minutes were the best!!

Possibly the best final 15 minutes of any movie I've ever seen. If this doesn't make you cheer, than your cheer thingy is broken. As for the first reviewer....did we watch the same movie? Couldn't disagree more. Very real, very touching, very funny in some spots, just a great movie.

I also oppose the top reviewer. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The storyline, although slow in the beginning, was a precursor to a beautiful and inspirational ending. I would recommend this movie to anyone.

What an ending :D Really great... but strangely my memories about this movie are reduced to the ending - meaning you can skip a bit and still understand what's going on ... well still a good story
