1) The reason I watched this: Surely because it's the 2nd season of "It started with a kiss". I was so happy to find it since I got the chance to continue the story.

2) Storyline/Plot: The continuation of the story and like the 1st season they followed the manga; this season had many important events along with many side stories; cute, romatic, sad, happy, heartwarming moments: it was all there.

3) Acting/Cast: read more In the first season's review I gave it an 8 but this season I gave it a 9 simply because this season's cast risen and there were cool actors especially those nurse team so cute^^ I totally loved all of them.

4) Music : Just like 1st season's music; it was nice.

5) Rewatch value : it totally deserve to be rewatched over and over again.

6) The ending : I felt sadness when it ended not because it was a sad ending but because I bid farewell to "Itazura na kiss"'s story; there was a total blank after it ended.

7-Overall : Well, I believe this is the best adaptation of Itazura na kiss comparing to other incarnations, "Playfull kiss" was nice but it was short and didn't continue until the end.
Between 1st and 2nd season there have been 50 episodes but I still want more. Apparently, The 3rd season's rumor isn't coming to life but i will never forget this drama : for real it's one of the greatest ever!

I rarely watch dramas longer than 16 episodes by myself. Although I have watched several longer dramas, this is usually with friends who help keep me interested and engaged. However, I watched all 30 episodes of ISWAK and 20 episodes of They Kiss Again on my own, and have since re-watched them several times. I really only have one favorite drama in the different drama genres, and this show (both season) is read more my absolutely favorite sweet romance. Having watched Playful Kiss first, I was curious to see how this version told the story. I immediately fell in love with the characters in the first season, but I was still worried that the second season would not live up to my expectations. All too often, second seasons falter behind the amazing quality of their predecessors and I am frequently left disappointed. However, I was delighted to discover that this was not true with They Kiss Again. If anything, this story was actually better than the first. It Started With a Kiss gets the main characters together, but They Kiss Again shows them developing their relationship. This isn't the normal story where everyone is more or less perfect and the amazing guy marries that perfectly sweet girl who finally got prince charming. The charm of They Kiss Again is the fact that Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin are more than half of their own problems. Zhi Shu is emotionally stunted, and has to learn that there is beauty in Xiang Qin's simplicity. On the other hand, Xiang Qin has to learn to stand on her own two feet. They learn that they both have weaknesses and that marriage is about learning to love and accept those weaknesses. I have rarely seen such excellent story and character development, particularly in a second season for a show. This is beautifully written, and I freely admit that I still go back to my favorite parts (which I have bookmarked) whenever I need a pick-me-up. This is sweet, charming, intelligent, and well worth the time to watch. It's romance, but it is thoughtful romance. I truly love this show and I recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the first season

Both heroines Xiang Qin (ISWAK) and Shan-Shan (Boss and Me) have almost the same personalities. Naive, innocent, clueless and tend to over analyze/think a certain situation but then jump to the wrong conclusion. Zhi SHu (ISWAK) and Feng Teng (Boss and Me) have also similar personalities. Both have cold and "poker face" demeanor, levelheaded but at the same time they are the "bread" to their respective partners, who are the "butter", because as the bread gives stability to the butter they, Zhi Shu and Feng Teng, give stability to their relationship with Xiang QIn and Shan-Shan respectively. I love both dramas!

THIS HAS THE BEST SKINSHIP IN TOWN. Let's be honest, Xiang Qin is really stupid to the point that you'll get annoyed because who doesn't want an empowered woman right? BUT SHE IS THE GEM OF BOTH ISWAK AND TKA. Without her stupidity, there' be no comical humor lol. SML for Ariel Lin. Too stretched plot but it worked. Entertaining.

The female character is the worst. I really wonder if there's such person in this world. She's so dumb to the point I can't even express. I'm not convinced that she's innocent. It's the lame character. The actress really portrayed it well that I got sick of the character. Their chemistry is out of the charts. Everyone played their roles well. I just completed 10 episodes and I'm unable to continue further because of her dumbness. But their romance is so good that I'm in a dilemma.

The chemistry is sizzling!!! I don't see the actors but a real couple!!! Their kisses feel so natural, and some are incredibly hot (the office scene!!! Oh MY!!! he clearly can"t get enough of her!!) so so much skinship in the entire show but especially in season 2.
The emotions of the characters are very real, you get attached to them and just don't want to leave them at the end of the drama!!!
It's not perfect: I keep skipping at least two episodes in season 2 because they focus on Ah Jin and Christine (and her fiance or Dad) and these episodes are just awful to watch and the plotline with Xiang Qin's nursing school friends can be boring at times)
But the other episodes are excellent, Zhi Shu is more and more affectionate towards his wife, especially, what he really feels for her goes crescendo in the second part of the season!!! The last episode might be a bit melodramatic but it's absolutely perfect in every way!! So so beautiful!!! All the love between them!! This is the perfect ending to an unforgettable love story!!!

I want to finish this sequel so bad but I can't knowing the ending and that there isn't a season 3 yet. I'm afraid I'll get too attached! This drama adaption is my favorite! I don't know how close it is to the original, but I like the fact that he seems like her loves her throughout the entire thing, in other versions he's way too mean sometimes.

Iswak and TKA were aired before playful kiss. So playful kiss is the remake

Well I still consider it as a remake since the story is originally from a manga, but from the drama aspect you are right.....anyway I refer to all remakes as Playful Kiss since it is easier for me to remember them in english :)

Love this drama. The connection and chemistry between the main couple is believable, and the kiss/romance scenes are the best I've ever seen in a drama - I felt like I was watching a real couple interact. They are just so natural with each other in those moments. And I liked seeing them grow as a couple. This is a show that will stay with me for a very long time.

My favorite version and my favorite drama, oh how I would love it if more drama's had believable kiss/romance scenes like this one. I have seen the anime and all the drama versions except the older Japanese one and they don't compare to this one.

It so hard for me to get over her looks.. I really want to finish this drama for half a year already, but I just can't with her..I wish they would pick a better looking actress instead of Arial. In Playful Kiss there was the always pretty Jung So Min and from pics, the girl in the Japanese version is also pretty. It's true what was said in the very first episodes "How all this handsome Taiwanese guys end up with all those unattractive women?"

just wondering, is there something wrong with your eyes?? i think you need to get them checked... also to answer your question not everyone falls for someone based on looks, but for their personality. Just sayin!

Well she's actually very pretty. but for this specific drama she's supposed to be less than average. The original manga describes her as not a very attractive dimwitted girl with compassion and love that fills the room. I would say she's spot on and one of the best choices to represent Kotoko :)

What's wrong with you?! I know this comment is 2 years late but you can't relate to the drama if they always have pretty actresses to play the role. Aries Lin is beautiful the way she is, and she played the role really well.

Haters are something else SMH-__- Ariel is very pretty....They had to make her less attractive for the show-.- Go on google and google her name,I guarantee you'd say damn she's beautiful...Even on prince of lan ling she was beautiful....The people over the makeup and wardrobe fixed her up.....

This just shows how despicable, shallow, and adultery minded the writers to this series are, having a guy trying to steal Xiang Qin from her husband, give it up already, she's a married woman, that's sacred, although, women don't seem to think so, hehe, woman was the first to sin, she partook of the fruit she was so blatantly not to, why didn't the serpent go after the man? Because he knew the man would do the right thing and stay away, it is always the woman, then she so knows how to connive and get what she wants, hence Xiang Qin with Zhi Shu. I rest my case. Still, shame on these idiotic lowlife scum of the earth writers for writing such garbage as this series, and if the manga is the very same thing, likewise with the manga writer...
