A great drama! I had very little expectations when I started watching this drama because the the ratings weren't high and there weren't many reviews written.

This drama by no means is perfect, in fact it has many flaws with sinful number of drama cliches. There were definitely lots of holes in the plot and some situations were just downright crazy. Some of the characters' behaviours were extreme and very unrealistic.

However, read more unbelievably these seemingly major flaws were overshadowed by the overall story about love, friendships and family relationships. I was completely drawn into the lives of these surprisingly interesting characters. The bromance between Jin Fan and Xie Chuang is one of the best I've seen in any drama. Their chemistry was perfect and they were joy to watch. I love to know the name of the actor that played Xie Chuang because he was so good. And wow, Hawick Lau portrayed his character, Jin Fan to perfection. I am a big fan of his now.

The romance between the main couple was cute as they had good chemistry but I also found the second couple (Xie Chuang and Jin Fan's sister) adorable. The story about the corporate world was surprisingly equally interesting as the relationships between the characters.

This drama absolutely exceeded my expectations, it made me laugh, cry and actually care about the characters deeply. I normally try to avoid watching long dramas because I get bored easily but I was thoroughly entertained by all 51 episodes.

Good God, this series has been my life for the past week or so. My laptop was practically attached to my hip so I wouldn't have to stop watching the episodes. I'm not normally a huge fan of dramas since they're usually cliched or predictable, but I really LOVED this one. To the point that I stayed up until 5 in the morning because I could not stop.

This drama was a read more wonderful mix of different elements from family drama to romance to corporate scheming. The cast and character dynamics were just fantastic- I adored Jingfan and Xie Chuang's relationship! That being said, the romance was still my favorite part. Yang Mi and Hawick Lau are flawless; my otp in real life and in the show! Hawick's portrayal of a flippant playboy was great and his chemistry with Yang Mi's character had me flailing in happiness because they were just so darn cute.

I laughed. I cried. I fangirled. I very nearly threw my laptop across the room in anger. And then I repeat the cycle as I rewatch the series for the third (or is it fourth?) time. Seriously, I cannot gush enough about this drama and I highly, HIGHLY recommend!

Except on VIKI, where can you watch this drama?. The servers on VIKI are too busy sometimes...it's hard to watch it!

The synopsis is misleading. There's no revenge at all. The plot line was unstable. It first seemed to head towards the revenge/romance genre then went towards the subplot of the father's affair which became central, then headed towards the family drama drama, then it became kind of a melodrama with the usual dose of crazy obsessive love then something else again in the end. Wow! At one point everybody started acting completely out of character...I don't know...I found the drama a bit strange...It's a happy ending but not a great story. Also the romance was a bit awkward. In the beginning especially the girl.

Does the acting get any better? I'm at ep 18 and I have to say, no one seems to know how to act and the script is such a mess. I have no idea what the writer is trying to convey in any of the scenes. Does this get any better or should I just drop it now and save myself the pain?

Anyone know where I can watch this w/ Eng subs and the episodes are NOT cut?...
Viki has cut about 5 minutes of every episode....sometimes, very crucial segments are missing!

That is generally not viki's fault since it's a fan channel and the videos are linked to youtube. I'm guessing the youtube videos are cut for some reason. I have no idea why and I admit it sucks. In hindsight I wish the project didn't get started until after the higher quality, complete videos were released on youtube. :(

Unfortunately, the only place completed with subs seems to be Viki.

But the videos there are from youtube, I don't think you'll see adds like on the 'regular' channels/videos.

You're welcome :) Only licensed channels over at Viki have constant ads playing during the episodes. Fan channels which get the videos from youtube don't have them. Enjoy!

It was a great drama and I actually rewatched it a couple of times because of the acting between Hawick and Yang Mi c: Does anyone know if Hawick's voice was dubbed? I can't tell.

aw yes I mean, the knock knock lovng u has eng sub but can u fix it because sometimes the eng sub is not accurate it may sometimes too late or early than the speaker speaks.

I see. That sounds like something a segmenter (who also understands Chinese) would be needed in order to fix it. I don't know how to segment, thus, can't help with timing.
