The second one of six stories from the Kowai Fairy Tale series. Each of them is a loose and macabre adaptation of one of the classic fairy tales. Ushio Hayakawa is a mute worker in "Mermaid House". One day, she hands three workers a scale, asking them on a note, not to deter her, and after three days, they will be rewarded. However, in the meantime, each of these people experiences a tragedy.
