It's another short Korean Boys Love series with a young, attractive couple that have to face their own unique hardship.

both Korean BL mini series
while The Director who buys me dinner only is has flash backs to historical settings Nobleman Ryu’s Wedding only takes place in the Joseon period.

Both are queer webseries, specifically in the BL/GL genre. Meaning they're lighthearted, have shallow stories, and each has a slightly more serious element to it. I recommend them if you don't want to think too hard. They're similar in that both of them feel like they are based on webcomics. While Legend of Yun Qian is magical, Nobleman Ryu is not, though both take place in the past as a costume drama. Are either of these the best thing out there? Not really. But that doesn't matter to everyone. If you know you are easily pleased by BL/GL web series with a light hearted feel, then go for it.

Similar premise - in Don't Touch Me, Your Majesty ML time travels and has to cross-dress as a concubine, while in Nobleman Ryu's Wedding ML has to cross-dress and become a stand-in for his sister. Both have extremely low budgets, but Don't Touch Me, Your Majesty is a parody, while Nobleman Ryu's Wedding is (slightly) more serious.

Overall, the two have very similar vibes especially with Mr. Queen having a character who is a man pretend to be a wife, and Nobleman Ryu’s Wedding also having a man pretend to be a wife.
