I loved the fast pace of this drama, there was never a dull moment. Lee Joon Ki did a fabulous job of portraying Tae-San, a man on the run. The changes and challenges experienced by Tae-San is moving and evokes empathy for the character. Child actor, Lee Chae-Mi portrays Tae-San's daughter, Soo-Jin beautifully. The interactions between Tae-San and Soo-Jin are precious. I watched it again and it was even better. Lee Joon Ki's acting has definitely improved over the years.

This drama has crested the heights of the genre. I was engrossed right up until the very last frame. It's hard to monopolize my attention span; but, this k-drama did. Aside from having one of my favorite actresses in the lead role, the little Girl who played Sujin stole every scene was in; or even mentioned in. Breaking my 'one shot' rule, I'll definitely watch this one again (and again). Superb! Bravo! Encore...

This is a fast paced drama from beginning to end. The reason I gave it a lower score is the first 6 or so episodes of stupid cops and prosecutors. Luckily, everyone gets smarter. Jang Tae San is a well written character. I enjoyed most of this drama and was completely satisfied with the ending.

Lee Jun Ki is an excellent actor. He went through the gamut of emotions as Jang Tae San and did it well!!! Kim So Yeon is one of my favorite actresses. Her portrayal of Park Jae Kyung was right on. The other actors are good too. That little girl as Soo Jin is too cute. I loved how they had her play Jang Tae San's conscience in some scenes.

The music is fine.

I might rewatch this in time.

I recommend this to people who like thriller/action dramas. Once you get passed the stupid, it is a great drama.

First of all, just to be clear, before I watch this drama, I was not a fan of Lee Joon Gi. His dramas are mostly historical and I don’t watch historical dramas. But after watching this drama, I surely became one of his fan.The actors are great! Lee Joon Gi is really a great actor and this one proves it. Park Ha Sun was also great, she’s not one of those actresses who’s role will annoy you. The little girl playing Soo Jin is so adorable and cute! I’m really touched everytime there’s Tae San-Soo Jin moment/scene. The story is also 10 for me. I watched many dramas already and the story of this drama is different from others. The plot twists. Glue being Mr. Han’s son (I felt sorry for him). You will really feel sad, happy, angry in this drama. This drama depicts how unfair life is if the ruler/the one who’s in power is the bad guy. You can’t do anything because you have no power in society. I was just so satisfied when they were caught, especially Moon Il Suk. It was great that they caught him alive, since he needs to suffer for all the things he has done. I felt very sorry towards Jang Tae San. He doesn’t deserve those 8 years that happened to him. Imagine not knowing you had a daughter and she’s now 8 years old. That was really sad. Anyway, the characters were great! The story was ????????. I would recommend everyone to watch this, especially those who love action dramas. This one suits y’all. PS. I really hope that In Hye will end up with Tae San. I feel sorry for Detective Im but, Soo Jin also needs his dad. And I also felt that In Hye still loves Tae San. He was just blinded by his hatred towards him when he left them because Moon Il Suk threatened him.

I don't have words to describe this drama. It made me wanna jump over because of all the feels I got there (specially in the end). That kind of drama that makes you wanna scream of happiness and cry like a baby at the same time. What I can say is that whoever wrote this are geniouses and made a very very good job. I have to say I never thought I would enjoy so much an action type of drama but everything was perfectly wrote and thought since the sequence, the minimum details to the stories behind and the ost. It messed up with my days because I couldn't handle not watching it speacially because of that countdown it gives us at the end of each episode, that creeps you out and it's amazing.

I really love the way thing fit in this drama and how they didnt do such a cliché and was always catching you. There's the whole melodrama thing, you never know what is going to happen, it's not predicable and this isnt a romantic based story. Of course, there is romance but that's not what they are focusing and they managed it all so well. Oh, I think they deserve a prize.

The actions scenes and the special effects were great but the thing I loved more was that in one minute you were super high on that moves and the story, you have the urge of fight and run, the other you were fearing for someone or in deep love and then you were almost dying of crying. It really shows every side of human beings and the circunstances and how you can be totally smart for some moment and then do such a terrible mistake that ruins it all. I think the ones who can do this and work well in a drama plus ending like that can only deserve a space in the drama sky.

Just to add something: I saw some comments about the ost saying that it wasnt quite good and everything but I liked and also I love when I hear non Korean songs playing on the cafes or other places. There's even one song that reminds me of Sherlock Holmes theme, so yeah, I really enjoyed and thought it had to do with the drama. You know, the music makes you feel something and their choice of ost was just what I would put to feel everything there.

It gets an 8.0 for being able to keep the pace of the drama suited to the time-span, having excellent direction, great character performances from all of the actors, but an especially wonderful redemption story that worked as a great trajectory for Jang Tae San's growth.

Could have done without the excessive overkill of flashbacks (this writer really needs to let schemes and plans unravel themselves). Whilst I found the open ending fitting for a drama that was taking place over a time span of two weeks, I didn't appreciate the allusion to a possible to reunion between Jang Tae San and Seo In Hye. I believe that their relationship was solidly finished 8 years ago - despite the circumstances. Asides from fond memories and lingering affections, I never felt anything more between the two, especially when one considers how far both have them have come in 8 years. A time period of two weeks doesn't suddenly stop Seo In Hye from loving her partner of 4 years. I refuse to believe that In Hye was only going to marry Seung Woo because she was "grateful" towards him. Tae San's sole object of affection should really have been his daughter.

(Not say that I would have minded him getting together with Prosecutor Park Jae Kyeong. There was definitely something between the two, but then again maybe not.)

Got to admit, I started to enjoy the drama less during the final act because of all the flashbacks, the silly ways that the villain would slip through the net and the increasingly irrelevant presence of Tae San's daughter. I get that she's sick and Tae San is fighting to survive in order to save her, but we don't need to see constant scenes of her basically saying she wants her Mum and Dad to get back together once everything is all over.

I really enjoyed this show - there were plenty of thrills and spills, and I was emotionally connected and invested in most of the relationships in this show too. Seems like it didn't do too well in the ratings, which is a pity, as I think it doesn't get the credit it deserves.

The show starts off right in the centre of things, which is great and gets you excited about the events that have transpired. A theme I enjoyed from this show is the father-daughter bond which is the beating heart of this story. Yes the romantic relationships were important too, but this familial relationship is the strongest and most compelling for the characters and viewers. Another theme I enjoyed is Taesan's personal journey during his two weeks on the run, his maturation and self-reflection on all the wrongs he's done to the people in his life. It's so damn satisfying to see him making an about-turn in his outlook towards life.

But about halfway through the drama, I started feeling slightly weary, which hinted to me that this wasn't an *excellent* drama. There's just something missing from this show to make it excellent.

On a positive note, Lee Jun Ki did a very good job with this role. He was utterly committed in all aspects - the action scenes, his conversations with In-hye or his daughter Su-jin, and in particular, my favourite, the scenes of self-reflection. Park Ha-sun was good too, particularly in the flashback scenes.

The villains were alright, but I guess one thing that got me frustrated was how the villains could sometimes outsmart the good guys so easily, or even how the villains were so incompetent at being villainous.

On the whole, a very very thrilling ride, packed with action but emotionally compelling and heartwrenching.

I begin by saying that Lee Jun Ki is my favourite actor. That's why my demands and expectations were extremely high! Because for good actors you want only good stories. I expected to see something like Time Between Dog and Wolf. And I was so disappointed!!This is negative review!
First of all the plot was so boringly predictable. I did know what will be in the end. It was okay during the drama, but hey if you know how the drama will end in the beginning, it isn't good, it isn't good at all. Then the script writers didn't do very good job because sometimes the events were silly and unrealistic. Moreover I hate stories where writers mix all kinds of trouble and just for one character. I don't know the story just didn't speak to me.
As for actors they didn't disappoint but because of the fact that they're good, they tried to make double job. They were really good but in the end the success of the drama lies not only on the shoulders of actors. And I noticed that it's very difficult to enjoy Junki play when you don't like the story. Furthermore there was too much drama.
I'm just so sad that the story wasn't good enough to excite me, to interest me and it didn't leave enough impression. So I won't advise to watch it.

What can i say about this drama? How can i praise it enough?
I will start by saying that this series has one of the most addicting plot that i have ever watched in a show .Ever. It had me on the edge of my seat from the first episode, biting my nails ( not a habit of mine ) wondering what's going to happen next and hoping for Tae San to be able to overcome the obstacles and save his daughter. I will continue by referring to the song of the series. The ending piece is just amazing! It gave me goosebumps every time that i heard it and i'm definitely going to add it on my mp3 play list. Now, of course i can not omit the performance of the actors. It was just phenomenal. Everyone were brilliant but i just have to say that Lee Joon Gi acting was just amazing. The man is the epitome of talent. Furthermore, can i just say that he is one of the most pretty males that there are out there? Those eyes...

,So to end my brief review. This drama gets 10/10 from me.
Amazing acting, amazing music, amazing story.
I recommend it to everyone. Just watch it!

I put this one off because just didn't seem to be my normal cup of tea but after the first episode I was hooked. Lee Joon-Gi sells this one and you can't help cheering him on once you understand his past. A well written story that could have been a shoot-um-up cold adventure but instead it has some heart as the main lead is not a bad ass fighter but I guy trying to survive for his daughter. I like how the reference to old US Films that he copies. This one was seriously underrated. After a little research, I think this one was over looked in the ratings because it was just up again some tough to beat competition when it aired. (The other channel just finished 'I Hear Your Voice' & its direct competition was 'Master's Sun') This is one to not miss.

This is one of my favorite among other dramas of Lee Joon Gi.
It is almost perfect for me, but I am expecting more romance from the main actors (Lee Joon Gi & Park Ha-Sun), but aside from that, I love everything about this drama. The story of the father & daughter who barely knew each other but then the Love is simply there. It's just so sweet...Lee Joon Gi was at his best portraying the father who will do everything to save his child. OST is also perfect for every scene...Highly recommended for rewatching…
