I didn´t expected much from this drama. I thought it would be another drama with only killing all charas off. But i have been so wrong.

The story is really great and realistic. After each episode you learn more about each chara and there relationships with each other. At the same time they need to stay alive after the accident. All charas devleoped with the story and the acting was really great. read more I couldn´t predict the ending and was really surprised.

If you expect like me at first a drama with blood and lots of killing of each other, don´t watch it. You will get a quielty on going story, where the main focus is more on the relationships from the charas.

You aren't supposed to go into this drama expecting a lot - with that in mind, you'd enjoy it. I'd say it's a good weekend thriller. If you're a fan of locked room mysteries, Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest or even corruption, then you'd like it. It's not like a top quality thriller but it'll provoke you so it does its part. If you've watched Lost Days - you'd like read more this. Or if you found Lost Days not thrilling enough, this one's better.

The story's logical. It's not like they were just randomly put into a forest so props to them for making it logical. They do well on focusing on one single plot so that things aren't everywhere. Episodes are spent to establish each character's story / side. They did really good on this. You may think something on one of the episodes and then on the next one we see another other side of the story. Factors like society, hierarchy and responsibility play a part in the narration. I like the whole "seemingly middleschool / highschool setting but actually a glimpse of a small existing corruption in the society" thing that was going on.

The acting's good as they are playing students. There were different types of reactions to the situation they're put in so I guess you could say it satisfies all viewers. Their acting is also all on the same level so no one really sticks out. The 'adults' acting was great. They did well in pissing me off most of the time & seeing how they were supposed to be a stressful factor in the narration, I'd say their acting felt realistic.

It wasn't a memorable soundtrack but it did its part. Felt the jumps when needed. Played the fear card when needed. It was a typical thriller soundtrack; the momentum builds and you're all excited to see the reveal. Never missed a beat so I'd say soundtrack was good.

Only problem is if you watch all the episodes at once you'll kinda skip things cause they either do a long review of the previous episode or drag it out. Each episode tries to establish the same feelings as you got from the previous episode then get on with the current episode's motive, which could get annoying if you're watching all the episodes at once. *I kind of understand this though, cause it was a show that played one episode per week so if you were watching in real time, you may have forgotten what happened last week.

Rewatch value @ 5/10 - cause once you know what happens you can't really rewatch it with the same feelings nor is it a great thriller to be rewatching. Nonetheless it was a good thriller (for the weekends - cause you may just want to relax / you're bored/ just need something to watch in the background).

I usually don't make Recommandations, but since it's a rare theme in dramaland, I wanna suggest this J-drama. It's not the best, but it's pretty interesting. If in Missing 9 they are survivors of a plane accident on a desert island, in Limit they survived to a bus accident during a school trip

Both dramas have dark atmospheres that involve teenagers and mystery. The plot twists make the stories thrilling and unpredictable.

I've watched this same story in the anime series "Grisaia no Kajitsu". The story is the same, just the same!
Look, I thought it was rough, but I burned my tongue. As in anime the drama is good too. It has its ups and downs and some flaws but it is average.

I didn't see what people mentioned below, that this is like BR. No.
I watched this after BR and this one focused on the psychology of different people in the story when pushed into their limit in not only survival but on their emotion as a person and how they perceive other people and their environment, hence the title.
Unlike BR it focused on the "survival of the fittest".
This is how I see they differ.

I enjoyed the twists and turns and, 'who did it's' of this series, especially the last two episodes. The fact that I was highly annoyed there was only one survivor, let me know I was really into this series. The public's reaction to the school and bus company was too mild, in my opinion. What was more surprising, I found myself sympathizing with the young teacher and favoring, among the survivors, the stoic, know-it-all, Kamiya. Very good series; I gave it an 8.

I doubt it was a spoiler, as I would have posted it as such, but you be the judge. Please, feel free to let me know how pissed off you are at the end of the series.

How the hell is "there was only one survivor" not a spoiler? Never mind, I reported the post anyway.

Did you happen to see the ending? If so, then I don't know why we're continuing this discussion (or rather, mincing words). I see one of us is clueless to what a spoiler is and... it's not me. Google it.

Also, not sure when you reported it, but as no one has contacted me to reprimand my so called "spoiler", means you must be the only one who feels that way. Until then, I shall refrain from further comments. Have a great day and enjoy the dramas.

Mizuki really grosses me out, those kind of people are the reason bullying exist. Also I really like Yamashita Rio's acting, I thought she was a bad actress after SHARK but she's actually really good.

This is definitely not a battle royale spinoff no matter how much the picture make it look like it is.
