Su Xian Ling is a novice assassin with zero experience and one day she snatches an order from her fellow clan to assassinate the current lord of the city, Dong Fang Jing. Short, funny and sweet romantic costume drama
This is a funny and sweet romantic costume drama. The storyline is interesting and even a bit exciting. I loved ML’s brother’s character and the strong FL that never wavered.Character wise:
FL is a sweet and strong woman who is an assassin. She snatches a mission from a colleague but accidentally loses part of it so she misunderstands it as a kill-mission and not a protection-mission as it was meant to be.
ML is the clever and cunning future Lord of the City who has been forced to wear a mask and pretend to be weak since his father’s death. He is also “the mission”.
Acting wise this is good and everybody does a good job within the limited timeframe.
So, if you love a short romantic comedy - with a bit of drama - this is definitely well worth watching.
