Lighthearted and fun fantasy story

This is a funny and enjoyable mini-show. The storyline is simple but there are different layers to the story if you watch carefully.
I love ML who has been alienated all his childhood. Watching him open up and fall in love with FL is so heartwarming and touching.
FL is bubbly and kind. Even if she is a bit oblivious when it comes to her own feelings, once she realizes she’s in love, she goes all in.
Acting wise this was an ok show. It is kind of hard to say much more than that because the show was very lighthearted and borderline silly. That might be the reason there was sometimes dialogue and behavior that was silly.
Well, if you like something lighthearted and fun - with a little bit of food for thought and a happy ending - this is actually worth watching.

Mini-show with the vibe of “Love Between Fairy and Devil” - in a good way

This is an amazing mini-show. The storyline is interesting and exciting. Only problem is that the limited time creates a couple of plot holes that would have otherwise helped the show feel more complete and the characters more interesting to watch. I have to reduce the rating a bit because of that.
This show has the vibe of “Love Between Fairy and Devil” - in a good way I mean.
Acting wise this is one of the best mini-shows I have watched.
Even if I normally hate an open ending, this one is ok for me. Perhaps we will have the honor of a second season. I truly hope so.
So, if you like a romantic and interesting (fantasy) mini-show, this is a “Must Watch”.

Wonderful, lighthearted and short show with an interesting twist.

This is a wonderful short show. One of these hidden gems you sometimes is lucky enough to come across. The storyline is quite simple and then again not. Normally I hate amnesia but here it is the premise of the story so I was fine with it.
I love these mini-shows or short shows when they are done right - like this is. Gone are unnecessary fillers and multiple side stories that test my patience. Brilliant.
Character wise:
FL is a kind but headstrong woman and ML is a clever, strong yet warmhearted man. Their love story is wonderful and sweet.
Acting wise this is great. All the main actors do a fabulous job with the characters. Since it is a short show there is limited depth and growth but that’s to be expected. The chemistry between the main leads is great.
So, if you want something short, lighthearted and romantic - with a splash of drama - this is definitely well worth watching.

Good mini-show with an interesting love story

This is a very good mini-show. The storyline is interesting and although the subbing was really bad at times, I understood most of the story. With better subbing it would have been clearer what was going on.
Character wise we get this not so outstanding and somewhat naive FL who gets married to a very manly and fierce ML with a hidden past and a terrible reputation of killing people (and wifes) left and right. Of course things are not that simple as we realize when everything unravels along the way.
Acting wise this is not top shelf but it’s definitely not bad. The actors do a fine job portraying their characters despite the short format and I guess low budget. The chemistry between the leads is good and the love story becomes very sweet.
So, if you like something fast and short with an interesting storyline, this is well worth watching.

Short show with mind-reading twist that will make you laugh

This is not the usual low-budget short show. The storyline about a writer who gets sucked into her own novel/book is not exactly new but the twist of her husband in the book - whom she is supposed to act against in all her missions - is able to hear her thoughts, is quite unique - and very funny and interesting to watch. I think it’s probably one of the 3 best shows (of this kind) I’ve seen so far. 10 minutes is actually perfect. Not too fast and not too slow.
Character wise: FLs father (in the book) is so cute and sweet. Her parents were a pleasant surprise. Other than that we have this clever and cunning FL who is matched perfectly with a ML that’s equally clever. However he would have been in so much trouble if he didn’t get the ability to hear FLs thoughts - how lucky, LOL.
Acting wise this is top notch. I saw ML in “The Killer is also Romantic” and he is brilliant in this kind of role. He gives me a Cheng Yi vibe, in a funny version that is (lets face it, Cheng Yi’s roles are often very serious).
Since it ends on a cliffhanger I’m definitely going to keep my eye out for season 2.
If you love a funny and interesting short show - with lots of twists and turns - this is a “Must Watch”

Brilliant short show with lots of twist and turns

This is a brilliant short show. The storyline with an actress that ends up in the script she plays a part in is not new but what happens in this show is both different, interesting and exciting. Even if it is a romantic comedy/drama there really isn’t much romance but that doesn’t mean that love isn’t the fuel of the story.
Character wise this has a clever and mentally strong FL. I personally love that.
It also has multiple males circling around FL with the wrong (according to the script) male as the primary ML. He is supposed to be a villain but because of FLs interference he becomes the ML and the whole story starts to spin out of control making it necessary for FL to try and correct some of the things and get rid of the bad people.
Acting wise this is high quality in most parts.
I know some comments say that the show jumps a lot and scenes to connect the red line are missing, but I watched a version that was edited into one full “movie” and I didn’t feel the story being neither segmented nor rushed. If there is a season 2 at some point, I am definitely going to watch that too (there is an open ending).
So, if you like a short romantic comedy/drama with lots of twists and turns - and don’t mind the shortened format - this is definitely well worth watching.

Cliché mini-show with an interesting storyline

This is a very sweet mini-show. The storyline isn’t exactly new except for the disease he has - being able to transform into a person he touches for more than 5 seconds and her being able to reverse the transformation instantly by kissing him.
Character wise we have the usual sweet and perky FL and the cold and clever ML who (not surprisingly) is a CEO. Nothing new there.
Acting wise this is actually good and there isn’t any cringe acting or anything like that.
Despite the show being rather cliché it is a fun and interesting show to watch.
So, if you like a good mini-show with a twist in the storyline, this is well worth watching.

Good revenge plot mini-show with a twist

This is actually a very good revenge mini-show. The storyline is quite simple, and yet not. What starts off as a revenge story turns out to be a sweet love story too. I liked that take on an otherwise rather normal cheating and revenging plot. There are a few plot holes and unanswered questions left after the show, but none that ruins it.
Character wise we have a FL who due to a meteor storm switches souls. The new soul is a strong woman and she decides to take revenge for the body’s owner who was cheated on with her own sister. The ML who is self absorbed and disloyal if it suits him cheats on his wife.
There is also 2ML who is clever and considerate. He is the one who steps in and helps FL get her revenge. The 2FL (sister) is a cunning and low self esteemed woman who wants to destroy or take over everything her sister has.
Acting wise this is pretty good and the actors do a great job in the limited time-frame.
So, if you are into revenge-plot and a little romance, this is well worth watching.

What a mess......weirdest thing I've seen in a long time

This is a weird mini-show. Even if the storyline sometimes makes sense, suddenly it doesn’t. Especially the beginning was all over the place and nothing seemed coherent. FL being married off even if she is supposed to be married to ML (who is who?) and then a battle between two families (over money/possessions?) and then there are two brothers (family feud between legitimate and illegitimate sons?) - and what’s with the snakes? What a mess. For once it wasn’t the subtitles making it confusing but all the story-jumps and things unexplained.
The acting was ok but not great and the editing could definitely have been better. Best thing about this was the special effects.
So, if you like something weird, then go ahead and watch. If not, save yourself some time and go watch something good.

Sugar-overload

OMG this is sugar-overload. The storyline is quite simple but we get a lot of romance, passion and sweetness. I had a lot of laughs watching this since there are a lot of funny scenes. Even if it is a mini-show, it doesn’t feel rushed but perhaps a bit abrupt in terms of editing. Nothing that ruins the show, though.
Character wise:
Both FL and ML are sweet and caring people that fall victim to a controlling mother and miss out on a lot of time together.
Acting wise this is great. I have seen a couple of shows with ML and he is quite talented. It would be nice to see him in something more up-scaled (and longer). FL is also quite talented and natural in her acting. Together they have sizzling chemistry which is very important especially in mini-shows where the love story has a limited timeframe.
I would like to point out that the kid actor is a great contributor to this show and adds another dimension to the story.
So, if you love a romantic and funny mini-show - with the sweetest kid actor - this is definitely well worth watching

Good season 2 that doesn't take itself too seriously

This is a sweet and enjoyable mini-show - and a second season that is just as good as the first season. The storyline based on amnesia and a lot of distrust and misunderstandings is interesting even if it is a bit cliché. Normally I skip shows with the amnesia-tag because I dislike that kind of stories. Since I watched season 1 and know that the show doesn’t take itself too seriously, I decided to watch it anyway. I’m glad I did because it is both fun and interesting without any fillers (one of the things I love most about these mini-shows). I did miss the second child we were “promised” at the end of season 1 but I can live with that, LOL.
So, if you want something that is fast, funny, romantic and a bit dramatic - without being too serious - this is definitely worth watching.

A hidden gem with zero angst

This is one of these hidden gems that I am sometimes lucky enough to stumble upon. The storyline isn’t exactly new or different from other shows with this theme, but it is one of the funniest and sweetest. It is very lighthearted and there is zero angst.
Character wise:
ML is this super cute and funny somewhat goofy guy who isn’t the best at studying even if his father runs the school. FL is a headstrong woman who is actually a modern chemistry student who blows herself up in an experiment and wakes up in ancient times.
Actually all of the characters are likable except “the villain” - but even he is not scary at all, LOL.
Acting wise this is great. Given the short format I believe the actors did their best with their characters.
So, if you love a lighthearted, romantic comedy, with zero angst, this is a “Must Watch”.

Wonderful and kind of hot mini-show with a nice revenge plot

This is a wonderful mini-show. The storyline might not be new but the show is really entertaining.
Character wise we have this nice and capable FL who runs into this strong and powerful ML. Not knowing their previous connection FL is drawn into the MLs net when she is in need of help to avenge her unfaithful boyfriend and his mistress.
Acting wise this is actually very good with little or no cringe acting. The chemistry between the couple is way better than most mini-shows. Often this is a bit lacking due to the short format - but not in this, LOL.
Anyway, if you love a sweet (and kind of hot) romantic mini-show - with a nice revenge plot - this is well worth watching.

Enjoyable and funny mini-show with time travel theme

What a wonderful mini-show. This is one of these small hidden gems I’m sometimes lucky enough to stumble upon. The storyline of traveling between two worlds (or time travel) isn’t new but I don’t think I have ever seen one where the portal connects a living room in modern time and a bedroom in ancient time - allowing them to go through time/space any time they want.
Character wise we get this sweet FL that is a bit air headed but resourceful, a ML who is strong and clever, a not too smart princess and a general that is kind of a genius but also soft hearted. There are also a couple of interesting side characters.
Acting wise this might not reach the top but the actors all do a good job portraying their characters. Since it’s a comedy we always have to take into account that the characters are supposed to be a bit silly. Especially the general’s Kung Fu, is hilarious. I also loved the princess the King was originally supposed to marry - what a strong woman, LOL.
I enjoyed this mini-show a lot and since the ending is kind of open, I hope to see a season 2.
Anyway, if you like a sweet and romantic comedy - with a parallel world/time travel theme - this is well worth watching.

Interesting and sweet mini-show that will make you laugh

This is such a funny mini-show. I love these stories where someone goes into a novel/comic book/manga and has to complete missions to get back home. I enjoy those with happy endings most and this fits me well - even if I feel that it’s a bit too fast paced and there are jumps in the story that’s a bit confusing. Not enough to ruin the show though.
Character wise: FL trying to be a spy is hilarious - absolutely no talent whatsoever, LOL. Instead she is clever and very cute. ML is really badass - rough but with a warm heart. The interactions between these characters are funny and sweet.
Acting wise: The main actors are really good and the chemistry is great.
Well, if you like a fast paced, interesting and funny mini-show - with a sweet love story at center - this is definitely well worth watching.
