However I feel like this movie did start on that topic to then leave it halfway without giving a conclusion on that matter, which I found to be a pity.
Overall it's very confusing. There are a few pieces of story/life advice that are interesting but I really feel like they were mashed together to make one story and it appeared to be very confusing to me...
Apart from the "Sebangou No Nai Ace" song the music didn't really strike me...
As for the acting, it could have been better. I especially expected more from Seto Koji. But to be fair, this is a movie whose aim is probably to be funny and look somehow exaggerated ? So it's not really the kind of movie that will help showcase great acting skills.
Won't really recommend this to my friends. It wasn't boring but it wasn't great either. If you don't mind getting confused and thinking 'what the fuck am I watching' a few times during the 2h of this movie, then you might be able to finish it !

Dreamworld for high school juniors
LIKES:cinematography, location settings, fx were okay too.
beginning concept was interesting but got lame fast.
acting was okay for what they were given.
DISLIKES:
STORY:
Typical cliches and trops for the plot. No character growth from any of them. Harem style of friends. None of their issues were resolved. No back story for the main characters; the girls, the non-binary and the guy in the club.
MUSIC:
Terrible, except maybe the song at the end. I muted it sometimes.
EDITING/PRODUCTION: not sure if this goes in this category but the story starts by saying the blonde boy is that way due to being half white, hence his hair colour. BUT you can see the dye job was done badly because his darker hair is under the blonde and you can see his dark roots. Also it is 2014, you can go back to 1980s and see people colouring their hair, so the concept of him being a loner due to his blonde hair is absolutely ridiculous. All he had to do is dye it black.
OVERALL: Like a manga it had the panty and boob shots from the females, but nothing comes from it. The beginning was okay, middle was dumb and the end unsatisfactory. The concept was very obvious. Too much hinting: (boy and girl hook up) & (potential boy and boy moment with the NB), but nothing happens. It felt like a very unfinished story, not a movie. I wont watch it again and no memorable scenes.

The premise of the story is these kids get together because they're rejected by all other social groups in their school. The main character is because he's half-Japanese/Half-White---so he has "blonde" hair. The others are rejected for some other factor, one has big tits, another likes science and is horny. I don't know. Just a poorly executed storyline without any dimensional characterization.
As I said the acting is not helpful. I think for men this could be a great film or even women if you're into the superficial and extreme T&A (Tits & Ass). I mean all of those teases are all over the place and extreme. I was actually impressed by the boys self-control, which made me think he might be gay. That could be an over the top statement, but that's not even a nice guy attitude.
Anyway, not impressive.
