MDL needs editors/writers! [Find out how to apply inside]

Hi everyone! 
Hope you're all having a great start to 2013! 
MDL is steadily growing thanks to our wonderful users, and in order to continue our regular daily articles (by our wonderful users) we need more editors. In case, you don't know what an editor is or what the position entails, i'll go over it below.

Editors: Once assigned an article, an editor will go through and correct any spelling errors/grammatical errors. If grammar is very important to you, and you're a huge fan of the articles that are being posted on MDL, then this is your dream position!  We are currently in need of 4 editors at the moment.
Requirement : A good grasp of the English Language.

Writers: We need more writers who can write articles for our front page on anything drama related from the latest Drama News, to your top 10 *insert random Drama related thing here*, to nearly anything drama related. An issue many people stated was that they don't know what to write about, and if you have that issue just email us. We can send you some ideas (I literally have 20+ topics waiting to be written). The only limitation for writers is that you have to be confident in your English. It doesn't necessarily have to be your first language, just please be decent at it so our poor editors don't end up crying. 


UPDATE, Feb 10: Thanks all MDL'ers for your applications! As of now we have filled all the editing positions, and have a great new staff helping us out. We are still accepting writers though, so please send us a message and we'd love to get you started writing today!

    I'm pretty interested in being a writer of some RL drama love type column entries with background lead ups (history in anime/why I started a series/etc) They'll probably involve alot of RL reference and stuff like that? Like how a drama fit with me at a certain time/why i loved it/how it affected me & led onto similar series.

    I would like to write an article about all that stuff, trinkets, stuffed toys that get famous thanks to dramas. Like the pig rabbit from you are beautiful or the pig doll in Kim Sam Soon, but I need help.

    I'd like to write about the more obscure dramas that no one seems to follow apart from me ^^; I think there's a lot of potential in those lesser known dramas/movies. Plus, I'm an English Lit graduate so I think I have the appropriate linguistic skills ^_^

    Now do I or don’t i? A huge part of me would Love to be a writer for MDL but I’m also scared no one would read/like what I have to write.
    Reading the comments it seems a lot of people are in the same boat.

      It's definitely worth a shot. Not only will you be able to develop as a writer but you will enjoy releasing articles thanks to the feedback. I can't promise that your article will be swarming with comments but it depends on how appealing the contents are.

    I so want to write for MDL. I have a bunch of Non-Korean article ideas so Korean dramas are taken care of! I will definitely take this chance!

    I want to be an editor but the positions have already been filled. I'm not that busy except with school and that only keeps me busy on the weekdays but I have absolutely nothing to do on the weekend! I usually end up re-watching or starting new dramas.

    I want to apply both as a writer and as editor, but I'm busy with so many things too so my pace will be totally slow, hopefully you can bear with that. But yes, I'm a grammar, spelling, and usage nazi so... *smirks*

      Even if you can only write one article a month/several months you should still message our editors and try working on an article. It can be quite fun :)

      I know! Some of the articles I've read here are fun to read, and I would like to contribute myself. :) Anyway, I've sent a message to Est already. Hopefully s/he replies soon ^0^

      And ack I didn't see that update about the editing posts being all filled, sad life it is... :(
