When I first started Korean dramas, with every K-drama I watched, I wanted the OST. I don’t know. Either the OSTs were that good, or I was just so fascinated with anything Korean that I wanted everything. But as I’ve seen more and more, some of the OSTs just don’t stay with me. But of course there are some that will stay in my heart for eternity, and I will never let go of those songs. For me, songs make the drama what it is. If I dislike some actor from a K-drama if he sings well, he just becomes amazing to me, which is strange because almost everybody in Korea can sing. Have you noticed that? Almost every actor I know of can sing as well as act. For example Hyun Bin sings “That Man” from Secret Garden. How many of you still listen to that? I know I do! Also, Song Joong Ki sings “Really” for Innocent Man. I cannot stop listening to that either! So, here is a list of the most memorable OSTs in my opinion, listed in no specific order. I really like Dream High's OST. I still find myself trying to sing and rap to "Love High," =P and "Maybe" gets in my head A LOT. =O JYP even sings for it!! =D I love IU’s song, but the most memorable songs from this OST are "Dreaming" by Kim Soo Hyun and "Only Hope" by Suzy. Okay… I know "Only Hope" is not officially part of the OST (In case some of you didn’t know, "Only Hope" is from the American movie called A Walk to Remember). As soon as Suzy started singing it in the outhouse I got super teary eyed. That is one of the few movies in English I still watch. But the song I listen to most from this drama is “Dreaming”. I have to admit I liked Taecyeon’s character a LOT more than Soo Hyun’s. As soon as he started singing I just started tearing up and getting all emotional. Yes… I just told you my weakness: Man Ballads.
“Innocent Woman” by Lee Soo Young starts playing and my heart starts doing things I can't even explain. That song is so mysterious;I don’t even know if I like it or hate it. Either way I can’t stop listening. It’s so addicting that I don’t know what I should do. >_< HELP!
“Really” by Song Joong Ki is still one of my favourite songs ever. Aah my feels!! I remember the first time it played in Innocent Man… I was screaming… (I get excited REALLY easily.) Man, Joong Ki’s voice is nice!
I know this doesn’t have very many songs. But I have to say the songs that it does have ARE AMAZING.
DA:C's OST is light and feels like wind on a hot day. It’s just such a good feel to listen to this OST especially
“Something Flutters" by Ra.d. That song just makes me happy. I feel so lovely and good listening to it. I don’t even know how to describe it. It’s just so special to me and will stay in my heart always.
Man, there are so many songs Boys Before Flowers! I don’t even know where to begin. "Because I’m Stupid" by SS501 is so heart gripping. I absolutely love “Stand By Me” by SHINee and ”Lucky” by Ashily. And who doesn’t love “Paradise” by T-Max <3 And “My Everything” by Lee Min Ho T__T? That song could kill me. But my favourite is definitely “Fight The Bad Feeling” by T-Max. It’s too much for my heart to take. I don’t know how I ever lived without that song. It’s just… and… my… with… total… and… just… FEELS!! You know? And guess what. I bet you didn’t know there are THREE different versions of this song! Okay you probably did...
Love Rain, Love Rain, Love Rain. I love the OST dearly. I remember sitting in the car on my way to a Christmas party listening to these songs, and honestly the drive was more memorable than the party. ;) (AND NO I DIDN’T GET DRUNK AFTER THAT!) <3 “Love Rain” by Jang Keun Suk is another one of those songs that just warms my heart like hot chocolate. I also LOVE “Love is Like Rain” by Na Yoonkwon, “Because it’s You” by Tiffany, and "Fate/Like a Fool" by Seo InGuk--ah it hurts my heart. T__T I can’t...
“Again and Again” by Yozoh is precious too. And "Shy Confession Song" by Milktea is another song I listen to and it just makes me happy. But I think my favourite is "Because It’s You".
I love To the Beautiful You's OST. I love it so much!!! <3 =D It’s just too good. There isn’t a song on here that I didn’t like. This drama's OST is such a jackpot. I seriously don’t think I can pick a favourite song off here. I mean seriously? How is it three of my favourite groups all sing for one OST? How does that happen? I honestly don’t think I’ll be able to pick a favourite. They are all just too amazing. “Butterfly” by Jessica and Krystal is so special to me because they are sisters singing a duet and I absolutely love the lyrics. Then there’s “Stand Up" by J-min. It makes my heart beat like crazy. And then “It’s Me”..I can’t say how much I love that song. As soon as I heard it I was in love. I love it so much!
-My Girlfriend is a Gumiho-
“Fox Rain” by Lee Sun Hee just makes me want to watch My Girlfriend is a Gumiho again. I love it so much man! I also love “Oh la la” by Kim Gun Mo and “Trap" by No Min Woo. “The Person That I Love” (BOTH VERSIONS) just makes me cry like baby. T_T Shin Min Ah’s songs are super pretty and lovely, and I love singing along to them so much! <3 “Two As One” by Lyn gives me shivers all over. =’) And then… Of course… My love… <3 “Hoi Hoi Song” makes me cry. I just can’t handle it. “I Love You From Now On” Is SO powerful! The most powerful song I’ve ever heard. And “Losing My Mind” Just… Seung Gi… Oppa… <3
You're Beautiful was my first drama, so obviously this OST will stay with me forever. "Promise" by AN-Jell. That song… It brings back so many memories! "Lovely Day" by Park Shin Hye was the song that made me really think Korean is a beautiful language. Listening to it again after such a long time makes me just… love life. You know? And “Without Words” (both versions) was the very first song that ever made me cry. T_T “As ever/Still" by Lee Hong Ki will always be in my heart. Hong Ki… ^_^ My first Korean crush <3. I think this is my favourite from the OST. But then again I love “Descend From the Sky" by Oh Won Bin Ft. Miss $. But I don’t think I like it as much...
This is such a memorable OST. This is one of the few dramas that I watched in 2 days and still remembered every song in the OST. They did such a good job with I Hear Your Voice. I don’t even know what I’d say to the people who put the OST together other than, “I FLIPPING LOVE YOU AND YOU’RE MY HERO!” =D. "Echo" by Every Single Day is just magical, and I feel like flying when I listen to it. “Dolphin” makes me want someone to come around to me! “The Days We Were Happy" by Kim Beom Joo is lovely. And “Words You Cannot Hear" by Yang JaeSeon always gets in my head. “Sweetly Lalala" by Lee Boomi makes me want to just go up to somebody and kiss them! My absolute favourite--I love it to pieces! I want everybody on the planet to listen to this song: “Why Did You Only Come Now" by Jung yup.
