In my personal opinion one of Korea's most over looked and under rated actor's is Park Ki Woong. Most of you probably know him as Shunji, his most popular role but he has a lot of other amazing works under his belt and is defiantly stalker worthy. Before we get down into the pitch of why you need to start watching his work, I'll give you a little background info on this 183 cm tall stud. Park Ki Woong was gifted to us on February 13, 1985. He debuted in 2005 and belongs to Wave on Entertainment agency which may not have a lot of well known actors but they did discover this gem. You can find more of his basic information simply by googling his name so I won't waste space or time going any further. I will now attempt to sell you on the wonderfullness that is Park Ki Woong.

DRAMAS

The main reason (the only reason) to watch The Musical is for Park Ki Woong. The drama isn't terrible.. but I'm not urging you to put it on your must watched list. I did watch this because he was in it and because of Gu Hye Sun. The drama itself isn't all that impressive however it's a nice and short melodrama if you're in the mood for that.. and if you're itching for some Park Ki Woong and hopefully by now you are. Ki Woong did do an amazing job with Jin, I honestly felt that if a good actor wasn't playing the part the character would have possibly fell a little flat. I think Ki Woong saved this role and in my opinion the entire drama.

Park Ki Woong's most successful drama is defiantly Bridal Mask. If you haven't heard of Bridal Mask just a quick overview-- It's an epic historical that takes place during the Japanese imperialism. It's very good and action packed drama that I'd recommend to anyone. The best part of the drama for me however would have to be Kimura Shunji. Shunji is without a doubt my favorite character in all of Korean dramas or probably anything. He starts out as an innocent school teacher, someone who could have had a normal life if it wasn't for the events that happened to him. Ki Woong so amazingly pulls off the character that doesn't want to be bad but has no choice. Everyone's who's watched the drama remembers that bloodcurdling scream, “GAKSITAL~~~~” His expressions told you everything. You could see when he was just in a fit of revenge-seeking rage and you could tell when he didn't want to do it anymore. He showed such a beautiful range of emotions in just this one drama I was truly blown away by his performance. While I was already on the prowl for Ki Woong after his drama I was hooked on him completely.

While Park Ki Woong may have shared an on screen kiss with No Min Woo in Full House Take 2 his true bromance lies with his Bridal Mask co-star Joo Won. The two are adorable and clearly remained close even after the drama as Ki Woong even made a cameo in Joo Won's drama Good Doctor. While I think it should have been a much longer cameo I was more than happy for the mini on screen reunion. Are you getting hooked? To see just how cute the two are together check out this small clip of Ki Woong surprising Joo Won. His reaction is so sweet.

I'm still not 100% convinced that the brilliant actor who played Shunji is the brilliant actor who played Gang Whee but all my sources say he is, so I'm forced to believe it. Just kidding. I am fully aware that Park Ki Woong took on both these roles. Full House Take 2 is the supposed 'sequel' to Full House but it is more just of a same concept it doesn't connect to the original Full House at all. Maybe you're not into the epic or historical thing, that's fine. You can still get a good helping of Park Ki Woong playing a cute perky blonde idol in Full House Take2. He plays the part so well and so funny I'm glad that the person in charge of casting chose him instead of an actual idol.

MOVIES

Movies are a great way to try out an actor if you don't want to commit 16 to 20 hours to them for a full out drama. Ki Woong's first movie was My Tutor Friend 2. His role in this film is different compared to the types of role's he's been doing in dramas. He plays more of the immature but popular young guy. He does some kind of mean but yet playful things in this movie and it's a really fun and light watch. I would suggest picking this for a movie night.

It's crucial for me to mention Someone's Behind You because it was my first experience with Ki Woong and how I became his stalker. I watched this movie with two of my friends a couple of years ago because it was on Netflix. I had just started watching Asian movies and dramas and I could sometimes get my friends to watch Korean horror movies with me even though they had no interest in Asians at all just horror movies, which I made work in my favor (I suggest you try it.) All of us teenage girls were ogling at the handsome and mysterious Ki Woong. Because what it comes down to it is in this film, he's just down right hot! If you want to take him on a test run plan a horror movie night with this on your set list and maybe you can even convince some friends to join you!

Ki Woong shows off near flawless acting skills in the spy-comedy film Secretly Greatly. You first meet his character thinking he really could be a cool rocker type but it's totally believable when you find out his true identity and realize he's just playing a part. Defiantly not the same type of musician he played in Full House Take2 but a completely new kind of role. This man has the most variation in roles I think I've ever seen. Oh and the additional eye candy of Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Hyun Woo doesn't hurt the film either.

DRAMA SPECIALS

Got even just an hour to spare for Park Ki Woong yet? You can enjoy his adorableness and talent in the short drama special The Scary One, The Ghost and I. I'll be completely honest the character Yong Soo doesn't have a lot of depth, obviously there is only an hour to get the entire story in. He's more of a side-kick in this but even that he does it well. One thing I appreciate about Park Ki Woong is even though he has done a lot and it's been years since his debut he still doesn't have to be the main lead he can pull of an awesome second who I always end up loving more than the intended main lead.

UPCOMING

Swine Escape is an upcoming drama special staring our Park Ki Woong. Even though I can't give you a review or personal input on it I have faith in Park Ki Woong that he'll be doing as well as ever. I suggest you look out for this after it airs on October 31st.
MUSIC

In addition to the gift of amazing acting he gives to his fans in all his works Park Ki Woong released a small album as a gift for his fans titles “You Are My Baby”
I as a fan much appreciate the gift and if you're interested you can check out the tracks below.

Before Ki Woong released his own EP. He was even featured in a few music videos. They are defiantly work checking out. (The last one is especially beautiful.)

SKY PMP PHONE CF
Park Ki Woong has done quite a few CFs but there is only one worth mentioning. The one that supposedly made him famous was his SKY Phone commercial. If you get nothing else from this stalker guide I'd be satisfied if everyone reading it at least gets a kick out of the rice grinder dance.

Thank you for checking out my Stalker Guide to Park Ki Woong. It is my first article and constructive criticism is welcome. I hope you can become a fan or even a stalker of his too now!

If there is an actor or an actress that is worthy of a Stalker's Guide in your opinion, and you have watched enough dramas of his/hers to prove it, please contact Elisabetta about it.
