Na In Woo and Lee Se Young will reportedly work together for a new MBC K-drama!
"Alchemy Of Souls" has already begun filming for the drama's second part.
On July 12th several media outlets shared that the tvN drama "Alchemy Of Souls" has started production for part two. There were also reports that there will be a change in the female lead for the second part.
With this, questions are raised about whether Jung So Min will remain in the drama or she will eventually be replaced by Go Yoon Jung.
The team of "Alchemy Of Souls" responded to the circulating reports. The team confirmed that the production for part two is already in the works. However, they also reiterated that they can't give many details about what will happen to the heroine of the drama for part two as it can be a spoiler for part 1 which is still not done airing. They shared that it is difficult to confirm whether Jung So Min will be replaced by Go Yoon Jung.
Jung So Min's agency Blossom Entertainment also shared their side. The agency stated, "We can't tell you anything regarding this case because this can be a spoiler to the drama. Go Yoon Jung's agency MMA Entertainment also refused to share more details as they also don't want to spoil the series.
Part one of "Alchemy Of Souls" is currently airing. The drama has 20 episodes and it airs every Saturday and Sunday. The broadcast date of part two is still not revealed.
"Alchemy Of Souls" is a fantasy romance about the people whose fate has been twisted after encountering "hwanhonsool" (the soul of the dead return to the living).
Jung So Min plays the character Mu Deok, an elite warrior whose soul got trapped in a weak body. Meanwhile, Go Yoon Jung plays the character Nak Soo, the soul that suddenly wakes up in the body of Mu Deok.
The series is directed by Park Joon Hwa and written by the popular screenwriters Hong Sisters Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran.
For the second part of the series, the male leads Lee Jae Wook, Hwang Min Hyun, and Shin Seung Ho will all return.
