Predebut Days
Bi Wenjun got influenced by his father who was a guitarist in a band to learn more about music. His preference for music is also noticable: Wenjun learned drums when he was 4 years old, and he also learned piano and singing. Wenjun currently attends Shenyang Conservatory of Music.

During his high school days, Wenjun was the president of the badminton club and yoyo club. Wenjun was the champion of Fushun Yoyo Competition and was in the top 6 of Northeastern & Inner Mongolia provinces' Yoyo Competition. In 2016, Wenjun participated in the 2016 Asia-Pacific Yoyo Competition. Wenjun was also a member of the nation’s champion yoyo team, Team HEAVEN. He performed yoyo in Beijing TV Night Gala in 2015. Although he likes playing yoyo, he was still sticking with his original intention, music, and he applied to Shenyang Conservatory of Music when he applied for gaokao (college entrance exam in China).
One day, when Wenjun went to his college, he got scouted by Yuehua Entertainment and started training in the company for eight months before he participated in Idol Producer and debuted as a singer and actor.
Debut
After Wenjun participated in Idol Producer and lasted until rank 10, he debuted with NEXT on June 21, 2018. After he debuted, he was a regular cast member on Fantasy Restaurant, a variety show where the cast members opened and managed a restaurant in Australia. Wenjun was the barista and he learned to make various drinks there. On November, 5 2018, he started acting as an actor on Sweet Taichi (淑女飘飘拳) which aired on December 25, 2019, as Wei Chu, the Taichi successor and a 3rd year university student. Wenjun also sang the drama’s official soundtrack, Fist With My Heart (拳心拳意). Despite not studying at an acting school, Wenjun still got praise from the staff, including the director, and he gained many fans.
After Sweet Taichi and In A Class of Her Own aired and got many comments, Wenjun’s performances in movies and television works as a newcomer continued exceeding many people’s expectations.
In 2020, Wenjun fully focused on acting, and he filmed three dramas. Ni Chang (小女霓裳) wrapped on April 21, 2020. On June 13, Wenjun acted in The Silence of the Monster (孤独的野兽) as the genius locksmith, He Chufeng. In October, Wenjun acted in Sweet Teeth (世界微尘里), a drama based on a novel with the same Chinese title by Mu Fu Sheng, as an outstanding and great dentist, Ai Jingchu. The drama aired on August 16, 2021. Wenjun released his 23rd birthday single on November 21, 《欲控》.
In 2021, Wenjun was honored to receive the Most Potential Actor in the Lifestyle Style Gala on January 7 and Popular Model of the Year in the National Geographic Traveller Star Charity Gala. He started acting again in Seizing Dreams (夺梦), a drama based on a boys’ love novel with the same title, on January 19, as Yu Hao, a university student who was a helpless and lonely boy, and after he gained his new life in dream land, he becomes a warm and persistent person. While he filmed Seizing Dreams, Wenjun guested on Keep Running. After Seizing Dreams wrapped the filming, in May, 2021, Wenjun shooted Jiu Xiao Han Ye Nuan (九霄寒夜暖) as a young master from the Qi Tribe, Han Zheng. In October 2021, Wenjun started to shooting a new drama: Mo Bai (墨白) as an actor and a game god, Han Jingmo. On his 24th birthday, he released a new birthday single, 《游弋》. Sweet Taichi (2019)
Wenjun debuted as an actor in Sweet Taichi. Sweet Taichi is a youth and romance drama which aired on December 25, 2019 on Youku. He acted as a Taichi successor from the Four Clan Wei Family, Wei Chu. He is also a 3rd-year university student in CMFU and the president of the student council, an ex-leader of Taichi faculty. The drama led Wenjun to become an actor. Wenjun learned Taichi before he acted in this drama.

In A Class of Her Own (2020)
In A Class of Her Own is Wenjun’s second drama he acted in. This drama is an ancient coming of age drama which aired on July 23, 2020 on iQIYI, adapted from a Korean best-selling novel, The Lives of Sungkyunkwan Confucian Scholars, and a Korean hit drama, Sungkyunkwan Scandal. He acted as a very business-minded and unrestrained nobleman who just thinks of making money, Yu Lexuan. Although he acts as the second lead, Wenjun brought big surprises to viewers in this drama, especially when he acted cute. This personality is very different from Wenjun’s real personality.

Ni Chang (2021)
Ni Chang is an ancient romance drama which aired on April 20, 2021 on Youku. Wenjun acted as Ouyang Ziyu, a free and unrestrained prince. He looks cold but he’s actually a humorous person. Ouyang Ziyu helps the female lead, Ni Chang, and they get along well, then they become lovers.

Sweet Teeth (2021)
Sweet Teeth is a modern romance drama which aired on August 16, 2021 on iQIYI. The drama is based on a novel with the same title. This time, Wenjun acted as a cold (but actually a gentle) resident dentist who has prosopagnosia and lives like an elder, Ai Jingchu. Ai Jingchu’s identity as a posthumous child makes him feel unsafe, he’s afraid to lose and he’s a very responsible person.

The Silence of the Monster is going to air on Youku soon. Wenjun played as a genius locksmith and police station security expert, He Chufeng. He has a mysterious past. He Chufeng is symbolized with a wolf, and Wenjun highly values He Chufeng’s characteristics.

“When I just saw the script, I thought that acting as Yu Hao was quite miserable. I seem to have received these kind of rough fate roles. Jiu Xiao Han Ye Nuan
Jiu Xiao Han Ye Nuan is the latest drama Wenjun starred in. The drama wrapped on August 31, 2021 and is going to air on iQIYI. This is the first time Wenjun acts as a non-human and he said this role was very challenging to him. Wenjun acts as a young monster from the Qi tribe, Han Zheng.
“Han Zheng is from the Qi tribe. His five senses are very developed. His sense of smell, sense of hearing, sense of visual are above humans. His power is also very big, he can leap onto roofs and vault over walls. What he thinks is also different from ordinary people. He has his tribe’s concept.
