Choi Won Young confirmed as part of the cast in the upcoming JTBC drama "A Person Like You"

On May 18th, it was unveiled that Choi Won Young will join Go Hyun Jung, Shin Hyun Bin, Kim Jae Young, Kim Sang Ho, and Kim Soo An in the upcoming JTBC drama "A Person Like You.”

"A Person Like You" will showcase how Hee Joo, played by Go Hyun Jung, will see herself in a poor woman she would meet. Hee Joo hailed from a poor background but eventually gained success as a painter and essayist.

Choi Won Young will play the character of Ahn Hyun Sung, Hee Joo's husband in the drama. He is also the chairman of Taerim Foundation's hospital.

The upcoming JTBC series will be directed by Im Hyun Wook who also worked for "People You May Know.” The script will be penned by Yoo Bo Ra who was also the writer for "Just Between Lovers,” and "Secret.”

 "A Person Like You" will be Choi Won Young's second drama for the year. The actor was also cast in the upcoming historical drama "When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon" starring Yoo Seung Ho, Girls’ Day Lee Hye Ri, Byeon Woo Seok, Kang Mi Na, and more. 

The actor can be seen in dramas such as "SKY Castle,” "The Heirs,” "Queen Seon Duk,” "Kill Me, Heal Me,” and "Doctor Prisoner.” Most recent dramas he took part in were "My Dangerous Wife,” "Alice,” "Mystic Pop-Up Bar,” and "Where Stars Land.” As for film, Choi Won Young participated in the recently released movie "The Book of Fish.”

 "A Person Like You" aims to premiere in the second half of the year.
