EXO's Park Chan Yeol will be releasing an OST for upcoming film "The Box" according to reports. 

Media outlets reported on March 4 that Park Chan Yeol will release an OST for his upcoming film and he will also be part of the upcoming new album of his K-pop group EXO. 

Aside from the reports that Park Chan Yeol will feature in an OST, it was also announced that he will attend the press preview of "The Box" at COEX Megabox in Samseong-dong, Seoul, on March 18.

"The Box" is set for a March 31 premiere, narrating the musical journey of an aspiring singer and a has-been music producer. The upcoming movie will be directed by Yang Jung Woong, the executive producer of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics opening and closing ceremonies.

Park Chan Yeol will play the role of Ji Hoon, the aspiring musician and actor Jo Dal Hwan will play the role of the producer named Min Soo

The upcoming film "The Box" will be Park Chan Yeol's first ever leading role in a Korean film.

In the last week of February, Park Chan Yeol was revealed to be enlisting in the military. His agency SM Entertainment confirmed that the EXO member will serve as an active duty starting on March 29. 

The last projects of Park Chan Yeol before his enlistment will be "The Box" and the reported news of EXO's comeback album for their 10th year anniversary. 

Aside from being an EXO member, Park Chan Yeol also pursued his acting career. He participated in dramas such as "Memories of the Alhambra", "Missing 9", and more. He was also the main lead in 2016's Chinese film "So I Married an Anti-Fan".
