Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama "Genie House"
Actress Jang So Yeon is confirmed to appear in the tvN K-drama The Midnight Romance in Hagwon.
It was officially confirmed on April 26 that Jang So Yeon will be part of the cast of the upcoming weekend K-drama The Midnight Romance in Hagwon.
Jang So Yeon will work alongside Jung Ryeo Won, Wi Ha Joon, So Ju Yeon, Kim Song Il, Jang In Sub, and Ahn Hyun Ho.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of Ahn Pan Seok ( One Spring Night and Something in the Rain) and writer Park Kyung Hwa (tvN O'PENing: Stock of High School).
The Midnight Romance in Hagwon will tell the romance story between star instructor Seo Hye Jin and her former student Lee Joon Ho who returns to the academy after 10 years to become an instructor.
Jang So Yeon will portray the role of Choi Ji Eun. She is the head of the administration department of the academy.
The Midnight Romance in Hagwon is set to air its first episode on May 11 at 9:20 PM KST. The K-drama can be viewed through tvN and the OTT platform, TVING.
This will be the first K-drama project of Jang So Yeon. The actress will also star in the upcoming movie Control led by Park Hae Il, Oh Dal Soo, Jung Woong In, Jung Sang Hoon, Lee Seung Joon, and Han Chang Hyun.
Last year, Jang So Yeon was part of the K-drama Divorce Attorney Shin and the film Ransomed.
Jang So Yeon made her acting debut in 2002. She is known for being part of the K-dramas Grid, Forecasting Love and Weather, Crash Landing on You, Touch Your Heart, Heart Surgeons, Something in the Rain, My Father Is Strange, and more.
