Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama "Genie House"
Im Hwa Young is confirmed for her second project for the year.
On August 8, media outlets confirmed that Im Hwa Young will be added to the cast of the upcoming historical romance K-drama The Love Story of Choon Hwa.
This will be her next project after starring in the 2023 Netflix original K-drama Bloodhounds with Woo Do Hwan, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Joon Ho, Park Sung Woong, Kim Sae Ron, and Jung Da Eun.
Last year, the actress drew attention with her performance in the upcoming K-drama A Superior Day led by Jin Goo, Ha Do Gwon, Lee Won Keun, Cho Yu Ha, and Han Yi Jin.
Im Hwa Young made her acting debut in 2010. She starred in several dramas such as Birthcare Center, Trap, Sketch, Prison Playbook, Good Manager, Signal, Yong Pal, God's Quiz, and more.
The Love Story of Choon Hwa will tell the story of the youngest princess of the royal family. When she finally reached the age to marry, she decided to take on a journey to find her husband on her own. She goes outside of the palace to meet her suitors.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Lee Kwang Young (Call It Love) and writer Seo Eun Jung (Salamander Guru and the Gang). IT will be produced by Beyond J, SLL.
The K-drama will be led by Go Ah Sung, Chang Ryul, SF9's Chani, Lee Seol, and Son Woo Hyun.
Im Hwa Young will play the role of In Jeong. She is also a crown princess with a beautiful appearance and great character. She will work closely with the crown prince played by Son Woo Hyun.
The Love Story of Choon Hwa will officially premiere on the OTT platform, TVING. It will air in 2024.
