Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Im Won Hee and So Ju Yeon will also reunite with Kim Sa Bu in the upcoming "Dr. Romantic 3."
In the past few weeks, more confirmation of the returning casts of the k-drama "Dr.Romantic" was revealed. The third season of the k-drama will be led by confirmed casts Han Seok Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, and Kim Joo Heon.
On November 4th, it was also confirmed that Im Won Hee and So Ju Yeon will also return to the new season.
So Ju Yeon's agency E&S Entertainment shared that the actress will return to the new season and will continue portraying her role named Yoon Ah Reum. The actress became part of the series through the second season.
It was also confirmed that Im Won Hee will return as the administrative director of Doldam Hospital named Jang Ki Tae. Im Won Hee was part of the drama since season 1.
"Dr. Romantic 3" will showcase the journey of Kim Sa Bu, the doctors and staff, and the people they meet at the humble hospital named Doldam Hospital.
The "Dr.Romantic" series is one of the most popular medical k-dramas of all time. The first and second seasons are both successful and the third installment of the drama is already highly anticipated.
The third season will be helmed by director Yoo In Shik and writer Kang Eun Kyung. The series will be produced by Samhwa Networks.
"Dr. Romantic 3" will reportedly premiere in the first half of 2023.
This is the first confirmed k-drama of Im Won Hee for 2023. This year, the actor starred in the series "Alchemy of Souls," "From Now On, Showtime!," and "Crazy Love." He is also a regular member of the entertainment programs "Dolsing Fourmen" and "My Little Old Boy."
