Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, GOT7's Park Jin Young and Park Gyu Young are all confirmed to star in the new tvN drama "Devilish Judge".
On February 3, tvN confirmed the cast and changed the airing date for their upcoming drama . Originally planned to air in the first 6 months of 2021, it has now been pushed back to the second half of the year.
"Devilish Judge" is about a head judge who makes his courtroom into a reality tv show in order to punish evildoers. Another judge will try to dig up the head judge's true identity.
Ji Sung will play as Kang Yo Han. He's the head judge who wears legal robes in order to catch villains. He's the "devil judge" who punishes those who are greedy and influential through the courtroom show. He's handsome and elegant looking, but has a mysterious aura. It's hard to know what he's really thinking.
Kim Min Jung will play the role of Jung Sun Ah. She is the ultimate rival of Ji Sung's character Kang Yo Han. She is also the executive director of a CSR (corporate social responsibility) foundation.
Kim Ga On will be played by GOT7's Park Jin Young. He's an associate judge who's the only hope in this undesirable society. He had a rough childhood as he was orphaned at a young age. He worked really hard in order to be appointed as a judge.
Park Gyu Young will play as Yoon Soo Hyun, a police detective in a regional investigation unit who is searching for Kim Yo Han's deepest secrets. She's the childhood friend of Kim Ga On (Park Jin Young's character) and they treat each other like siblings.
With this confirmed casting, Ji Sung and Kim Min Jung will reunite for the first time in 14 years. They previously starred together in the 2007 MBC drama "New Heart".
"Devilish Judge" will be directed by Choi Jung Gyu and written by Moon Yoo Seok.
