"Connection", Starring Ji Sung, Jeon Mi Do, and Kwon Yool, Is Off to a Promising Start
Disney+ has confirmed the release of Moving writer Kang Full's webtoon adaptation Light Shop.
Light Shop is the fifth installment in Kang Full's "flat psychological mystery" series.
The K-drama is set against the backdrop of a mysterious lamp shop that serves as the point of junction for the living and the dead.
The screenplay of Light Shop will be penned by Kang Full. Taking on the directing duties is none other than actor Kim Hee Won, who played the role of Choi Il Hwan, a teacher at Jeongwon High School in Moving. The drama will mark Kim Hee Won's directorial debut.
Confirmed to star in Light Shop are household names and rising stars including Ju Ji Hoon (Kingdom, Hyena), Park Bo Young (Concrete Utopia, Daily Dose of Sunshine), Bae Sung Woo (Boston 1947), Uhm Tae Goo (Night in Paradise, A Taxi Driver), Kim Seol Hyun (The Killer's Shopping List), Lee Jung Eun (Juvenile Justice, A Bloody Lucky Day, Daily Dose of Sunshine), Kim Min Ha (Pachinko), Park Hyuk Kwon (Behind Your Touch, Reborn Rich, Law School), Kim Dae Myung (Hospital Playlist, The Sound of Your Heart, Misaeng: Incomplete Life), Shin Eun Soo (Twinkling Watermelon), Kim Sun Hwa (Big Mouth, The Glory), and Kim Ki Hae (Duty After School).
