Jung So Min will reportedly be the leading lady of Jung Hae In in the upcoming rom-com K-drama Mom’s Friend’s Son.
On November 30, various media outlets revealed that Jung So Min has been picked to be the female lead of Jung Hae In in the upcoming K-drama Mom’s Friend’s Son.
Jung So Min's agency IEUM HASHTAG shared their side through the media outlet XSports News. According to the agency, "The upcoming K-drama Mom’s Friend’s Son is one of the works that was offered to Jung So Min. She is currently reviewing the offers and nothing has been decided yet."
Mom’s Friend’s Son is a romantic comedy K-drama that focuses on a woman who tries to reset her erratic life and dark history.
Earlier, Jung Hae In got the offer to lead the upcoming K-drama and he is positively reviewing it.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Yoo Je Won (Crash Course in Romance) and writer Shin Ha Eun (The Crowned Clown). This will be their reunion work after three years since Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
Mom’s Friend’s Son will reportedly air on tvN in 2024.
This year, Jung So Min starred in the hit film Love Reset with Kang Ha Neul, Hwang Se In, Kim Sun Young, Yoon Gyung Ho, and Jo Min Soo.
If Jung So Min confirms her casting, this will be her comeback K-drama after two years. She last starred in the 2022 fantasy K-drama Alchemy of Souls.
