Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Jung So Min will be making a special appearance on the upcoming drama "My Roommate is A Gumiho."
On March 10th, it was reported that Jung So Min will participate in a cameo for the upcoming tvN drama starring Girls Day Lee Hye Ri and Jang Ki Young titled "My Roommate is A Gumiho".
Jung So Min will reunite with his former director Park Joon Hwa who's currently the co-director of the upcoming drama. The actress and director worked together for the 2017 drama "Because This Is My First Life" with actor Lee Min Ki.
"My Roommate is A Gumiho" will depict the unexpected romance between a 22 year old female college student named Lee Dam (played by Lee Hye Ri) and a 999-year old nine-tailed fox (Gumiho) named Shin Woo Yeo (played by Jang Ki Yong). The drama is based on the webtoon of the same name.
Jung So Min last appeared as the main lead in the 2020 drama "Soul Mechanic" with Shin Ha Kyun. In 2021, she will be part of the upcoming drama titled "Monthly Magazine Home" with Kim Ji Suk. Early this year, reports also stated that Jung So Min got the offer to star in the upcoming drama "Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi" with Cho Byeong Kyu though the actress is still reviewing the offer. Jung So Min stars in a drama at least once every year.
"My Roommate Is a Gumiho" will be directed by Park Joon Hwa and Nam Sung Woo, who also helmed the drama "Kkondae Intern". The script will be written by Baek Sun Woo and Choi Bo Rim who also worked for "What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim".
"My Roommate is A Gumiho" is set to premiere in the first half of 2021.
