Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Actress Kim Ji Won will possibly team up with Jeon Do Yeon in the upcoming K-drama The Price of Confession.
Media outlets reported on January 9 that Kim Ji Won will join Jeon Do Yeon in the upcoming OTT K-drama The Price of Confession.
Kim Ji Won's agency HiZium Studio shared their side regarding the reports through Daily Sports. According to the label, "Kim Ji Won received the offer to star in The Price of Confession. It is one of the works that was offered to the actress, and she is currently reviewing it."
Many are already anticipating the next K-drama project of Kim Ji Won. The actress was last seen in the hit 2022 K-drama My Liberation Notes. In 2024, Kim Ji Won is expected to return to the small screen with Queen of Tears. She will work alongside Kim Soo Hyun, Park Sung Hoon, Kwak Dong Yeon, Na Young Hee, and Kim Jung Nan.
Kim Ji Won is known for being a versatile actress who has starred in several genres throughout her career. She is best known in the hit K-dramas Arthdal Chronicles, Fight for My Way, Descendants of the Sun, The Heirs, To the Beautiful You, and more.
The Price of Confession will be the next work of top director Lee Jeong Hyo who created the popular K-dramas Doona!, Crash Landing on You, Romance Is a Bonus Book, and Life on Mars.
It will tell the story of two women whose lives will change because of a murder case. It will showcase the journey of an art teacher and a mysterious woman as they face the murder case.
The series was first offered to Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee, but after discussion, the two decided to back out from the K-drama. It was then offered to Jang Do Yeon, and the actress is currently reviewing the offer.
The Price of Confession will reportedly begin its production within the year. The K-drama will exclusively be available on an OTT platform.
