The actors of Wonderful WorldKim Nam JooCha Eun WooKim Kang Woo, and Im Se Mi, gave a glimpse of their character dynamics during the K-drama's script reading. 

On January 18, MBC unveiled pics from the script reading session of the upcoming Friday-Saturday drama Wonderful World.

Wonderful World is a mystery drama that follows Eun Soo Hyun (Kim Nam Joo), who takes justice into her own hands after the tragic loss of her son. 

Voice Season 2 director Lee Seung Young collaborated with Why Her? writer Kim Ji Eun for the K-drama. 

The script reading session was attended by director Lee Seung Young, writer Kim Ji Eun, and actors Kim Nam Joo, Cha Eun Woo, Kim Kang Woo, Im Se Mi, Park Hyuk KwonKil Hae YeonCha Soo Yeon, Oh Man Seok, Kang Myung Joo, Jin Geon Woo, Yang Hye Ji, Kim Woo Hyun, Lim Ji Sub, and Lee Jun among others. 

Kim Nam Joo plays the role of Eun Soo Hyun, a successful psychology professor and writer who experienced a complete turnaround in life after losing her young son.  

Cha Eun Woo plays Kwon Seon Yul, a mysterious young man who chooses a rough path to life despite growing up in a wealthy family. 

Kim Kang Woo plays the role of Kang Soo Ho, a talented former journalist, and Kang Soo Ho's husband. 

And Im Se Mi plays Han Yoo Ri, Eun Soo Hyun's best friend who is like a sister to her and the CEO of a Cheongdam select shop.

Veteran actress Kim Nam Joo revealed the reason for her return to the small screen after almost six years, stating, "As a mother raising two children, her [Eun Soo Hyun's] earnest maternal love touched my heart." Cha Eun Woo emphasized the drama's appeal by expressing, "Through the story of people experiencing similar misery healing each other, the drama brings about many heart-warming feelings." 

Additionally, Kim Kang Woo expressed optimism, saying, "I think it will be a new [kind of] drama. I guess I just have to do well." Im Semi expressed her determination, stating, "I will create a good and warm drama on set." 

Wonderful World will be released on March 1.
