Lee Byung Hun is confirmed to produce and star in a Netflix original movie! 

Several reports circulated on July 20th that Lee Byung Hun will be the producer and the main lead for the upcoming Netflix film "I Believe In A Thing Called Love."

The top actor's agency BH Entertainment confirmed the reports that the actor will be producing the movie "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" based on the novel by Maurene Goo. But they also reiterated that Lee Byung Hun is still reviewing if he will be starring in the movie. Nothing has been decided yet. 

Netflix recently acquired the rights to produce "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" and it will depict the story of Desi. A high school senior who's determined to get a boyfriend while using the laws of Korean drama romances. Lee Byung Hun will reportedly play the role of Desi's dad. 

BH Entertainment and Mary Lee will co-produce the upcoming movie and it will be helmed by Yulin Kuang who also worked for the Netflix movie "The Healing Powers of Dude."

Meanwhile, Lee Byung Hun recently attended the closing ceremony of the 74th Cannes Film Festival. He was the first Korean actor to become the award presenter. His upcoming movie "Emergency Declaration" was also invited and some of the main leads such as Song Kang Ho, Im Si Wan, and director Han Jae Rim attended and walked the red carpet of the festival.

Lee Byung Hun will be leading several movies in the future namely "Emergency Declaration," "Concrete Utopia," and "The Match". He will also reportedly appear in the upcoming drama "Our Blues" with Han Ji Min, Shin Min Ah, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun, and Kim Woo Bin. The drama will be written by Noh Hee Kyung
