Actress Lee Sang Sook will be part of the KBS K-drama "Brain Works."

On January 16, it was announced that Lee Sang Sook will be making a special cameo appearance in the fifth and sixth episodes of "Brain Works." 

Lee Sang Sook will be playing the role of Lee Jung Ja. She is a cult leader and she runs a pseudo-relief center known as the Redemption Healing Center. She uses her elegant way of speaking by brainwashing people of redemption. 

The actress will work closely with main leads Cha Tae Hyun and Kwak Sun Young in the upcoming two episodes. 

"Brain Works" began airing on January 2. It is being led by CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa,  Cha Tae Hyun, Kwak Sun Young, Ye Ji Won, Jung Dong Hwan, and Woo Hyun. The series is about two men who are impatient to kill each other and began to work together to solve criminal cases related to brain diseases. 

The production team of the ongoing K-drama shared, "We are grateful to actress Lee Sang Sook for adding vitality and positive energy with her experienced acting in the set for her cameo appearance. Lee Sang Sook perfectly transformed into Lee Jung Ja with great charisma that we have never seen before. "Brain Works" is part of the Monday and Tuesday drama timeslot of KBS. It airs at 9:50 PM KST.

Lee Sang Sook is currently part of the ongoing TV Chosun K-drama "Red Balloon" starring Seo Ji Hye, Hong Soo Hyun, Lee Sang Woo, Lee Sung Jae, Jung Yoo Min, and Lee Bo Hee

The actress made her acting debut in 1988. She has starred in several k-dramas such as "The Memoirs of Lady Hyegyeong," "Can We Love Again," "Princess Aurora," "Radiant Office," "A Place in the Sun," "Revolutionary Sisters," "It's Beautiful Now," and more.
