Oh Eui Shik joins Lee Min Ki's new action thriller K-drama
Lee Sun Bin and Yoo Jae Myung are in discussion to work together on a new black comedy film.
According to the film industry on February 7, Lee Sun Bin and Yoo Jae Myung are the main leads of the upcoming movie "The Secret of the Examination" (literal translation). The two will be working with director Lee Yong Jae who also wrote the movies "In Our Prime" and "Secret Zoo."
The upcoming film will be produced by Joy Rabbit, the same producer of the films "In Our Prime," "Inseparable Bros," and "A Melody to Remember."
"The Secret of the Examination" is a black comedy film that will depict the commotion among exam takers that got locked up in a secret campus in Gangwondo for more than a month. The upcoming film will revolve around the theme of the CSAT exam.
According to reports, the upcoming movie will begin filming during the first half of 2023.
If Lee Sun Bin confirms her casting, this will be her first film of the year. The actress is already booked for several K-dramas such as "Super Couple" and "Mission 2: Possible." She also starred in the recently ended K-drama "Work Later, Drink Now Season 2."
The actress last appeared on the big screen in 2022 through the movie "Toxic" with Kim Sang Kyung, Seo Young Hee, Yoon Gyung Ho, Lee Ji Hoon, and Jang Gwang.
Meanwhile, if Yoo Jae Myung accepts the offer to star in "The Secret of the Examination," this will be added to his long list of upcoming works. The talented actor is set to join the upcoming movies "Firemen," "Harbin," "The Land of Happiness," "Finding the King," "Season of You and Me," "Portrait of a Family," and "Broker," He will also star in the upcoming K-dramas "Song of the Bandits" and "Country and Nation."
