Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Actor Lee Won Jung is set to star in another romantic comedy K-drama!
On June 30th, it was officially confirmed that Lee Won Jung will be joining Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop in the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Is It Fate?
This will be the next upcoming work of the actor. Lee Won Jung is set to star in the Netflix original K-drama Hierarchy with Roh Jeong Eui, Lee Chae Min, Kim Jae Won, Ji Hye Won, and Kim Tae Jung.
Lee Won Jung recently starred in the KBS K-drama My Perfect Stranger as Jin Ki Joo's father (younger version). The actor became more known after starring in this series.
The actor made his acting debut in 2020. He first appeared in the web drama Real:Time: Love Season 3. Since then, he has been active and has starred in several works.
Lee Won Jung was part of the K-dramas Live On, Bio Homme, Can You Deliver Time? 2002, The World of My 17 Season 2, New Normal Zine, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Brain Works, and more.
Is It Fate? will base its story on the webtoon of the same name written by Nam Ji Eun and illustrated by Kim In Ho.
It will tell the story of a man and a woman who was each others' first love and accidentally meets again after 10 years.
The upcoming K-drama will be directed by Song Hyun Wook (The Golden Spoon, The King's Affection, Another Miss Oh, and more) and written by Park Geu Ro.
Aside from Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop, the K-drama will also be led by Yun Ji On, SISTAR's Kim Da Som, and Yoon Jun Won.
Lee Won Jung will play the role of the owner of a meat restaurant and will be the bridge to Lee Hong Joo and Kang Hoo Yeong, Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop's characters respectively.
Is It Fate? will air on tvN and according to reports, the K-drama will premiere within the year.
