Don Lee's Actioner "The Roundup: Punishment" Attracts 1 Million+ Moviegoers on 2nd Day of Release

All eyes are on the leading contenders for the coveted Best Couple Award.
Among the nominees are Woo Do Hwan, who played a lawyer in the Joseon era, and Bona, who played a Joseon princess from Joseon Attorney: A Morality. The actors transformed into a couple who came together despite societal barriers.
Also in competition are Namkoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin from My Dearest, a couple that weathered the storms of war and adversity. The actors' heartfelt performances struck a chord with many.
The duo of Cha Eun Woo and Park Gyu Young from A Good Day to Be a Dog, who captivated the audience with their cute chemistry, are also strong contenders. Even before its release, the K-drama generated quite a buzz as fans were excited to see two of the most stunning actors sharing the same frame.
Adding to the competition are Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk, depicting a romance transcending death and eras in The Story of Park's Marriage Contract.
Lee Se Young plays a woman from the 19th century, and Bae In Hyuk portrays an emotionless man from the 21st century.
With such strong contenders vying for the Best Couple Award, it sure will be a cut-throat competition.
The voting for the Best Couple award will be conducted from 10 a.m. on December 18 (Monday) until midnight on December 25 (Monday) through the official 2023 MBC Drama Awards website and Naver Entertainment.
