Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Park Eun Bin's upcoming K-drama Diva of the Deserted Island will reportedly air on broadcast channel tvN.
On April 21, media insiders revealed that Diva of the Deserted Island will be broadcasted through tvN. It will be part of their Saturday and Sunday K-drama timeslot and the series will premiere in the second half of 2023.
After several reports were released, tvN gave their official statement regarding the upcoming K-drama Diva of the Deserted Island. A representative from tvN stated, "There is still no final decision for the broadcast of Diva of the Deserted Island."
Diva of the Deserted Island will revolve around a woman who got stuck on an uninhabited island while chasing her dreams and trying to be part of an audition in Seoul. After 15 years, she got rescued and still hung on to her dream. She will then challenge herself in becoming a diva.
It will be led by Park Eun Bin, Chae Jong Hyeop, VIXX's Cha Hak Yeon, Kim Hyo Jin, Kim Joo Heon, and Lee Re.
The K-drama will be the next work of director Oh Choong Hwan and writer Park Hye Ryun. The two are known for creating the hit K-dramas Start-Up and While You Were Sleeping.
According to previous reports, the drama will begin filming in the first half of the year and it will air in the second half of 2023.
Many are already excited about the follow-up K-drama of Park Eun Bin after the global hit series Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Many are anticipating what kind of performance Park Eun Bin will showcase in the new series.
Meanwhile, Park Eun Bin is nominated for the "Best Actress Award" at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards. She got nominated for her brilliant performance in the ENA 2022 K-drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Other candidates for the prestigious award are Kim Ji Won, Kim Hye Soo, Song Hye Kyo, and miss A's Suzy. The event will happen on April 28 at Paradise City in Incheon at 5:30 PM KST.
