Ahead of Celebrity's release, the streaming service Netflix released a set of stills from the K-drama featuring Park Gyu YoungKang Min HyukLee Chung Ah, and Lee Dong Gun, among others.

The released stills offer a glimpse into the intriguing world of celebrities, where not everything is as it seems. In the K-drama, Park Gyu Young plays the role of Seo Ah Ri, an ordinary woman who becomes an influencer with 1.3 million followers overnight.

The actress said that she was drawn to the drama as it will give her the opportunity to explore the highs and lows of social media and how it influences our lives. The released stills give a picture of the dark side of the celebrity world as Seo Ah Ri stands facing a woman who mercilessly grabs another woman by her hair. A bleak scenario indeed.

Kang Min Hyuk takes on the role of Han Joon Kyung, a third-generation chaebol heir and the CEO of a cosmetics brand.

Lee Chung Ah plays the character of Yoon Shi Hyun, the daughter of a prominent politician and a director of a cultural foundation, who wields immense influence even without the aid of social media. The actress describes Shi Hyun as a golden spoon who is envied by everyone for the perfect life she leads.

Lee Dong Gun portrays Jin Tae Jeon, the wealthy and powerful owner of Taekang Law Firm and the husband of Yoon Shi Hyun. Lee Dong Gun defines Tae Jeon as a character with an overwhelming sense of self-consciousness, who looks down on everyone.

Jeon Hyo Sung brings to life the character of Oh Min Hye, Seo Ah Ri's high school classmate, and an SNS celebrity. With a successful brand and an ideal family, Min Hye leads a picture-perfect life. However, behind her lovely and bubbly demeanor, she faces the turmoil of being swayed by follower count and fame.

Celebrity promises to be an exciting drama portraying the intricate power dynamics and nuances of the celebrity world, a realm that everyone knows on the surface but only a few truly understand.

The K-drama is set to premiere on June 30 only on Netflix.
