Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Shin Dong Wook will also return to "Dr. Romantic 3."
The doctors from "Dr. Romantic 2" are all confirmed to return to the new season. On November 7, media outlet Star News confirmed that Shin Dong Wook is returning to his character doctor Bae Moon Jung in the upcoming new season of " "Dr.Romantic."
The upcoming new season will be directed by Yoo In Shik and written by Kang Eun Kyung. The series will be produced by Samhwa Networks.
"Dr. Romantic 3" will continue to showcase the stories of the doctors, staff, and people who enter the humble hospital in the countryside named Doldam Hospital.
Shin Dong Wook will continue portraying the role of the orthopedic surgeon named Bae Moon Jung who's well-versed in the bones of a person's body. From the toe bone to the skull, he knows each part of it and even talks to it.
The actor will join the main casts Han Seok Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, and Kim Joo Heon.
"Dr. Romantic 3" will exclusively air on SBS during the first half of 2023.
This will be the first k-drama of Shin Dong Wook for 2023. He was last seen in the Korean drama remake titled "Woo Ri the Virgin" with Im Soo Hyang, Sung Hoon, Hong Eun Hee, Yun Woon Kyung, and Joo Jin Mo.
Shin Dong Wook made his acting debut in 2004. He has starred in several k-dramas such as "Reflection of You," "My Unfamiliar Family," "Dae Jang Geum Is Watching," "Live," "The Guardian," "Stars Falling From the Sky," "Oh! Pil Seung And Bong Soon Young," and more.
The actor was first introduced in the second season of "Dr. Romantic." He showed great chemistry with Han Seok Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Lee Sung Kyung in the series.
