On the 27th, local time, Song Kang Ho took to the stage at the Lumière Grand Theatre in Cannes for the 76th Cannes Film Festival award ceremony to present the Best Actress award. Song Kang Ho previously won the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival last year for the Broker directed by Hirokazu Koreeda.

On this day, Song Kang Ho waved to the audience and took the stage, saying, "Merci Bocu," which means 'thank you very much' in French.

He continued, "I am glad to greet all of you from this honorable position. When I think about the lives of actors and artists, it seems that moments of joy and pain coexist."

He then respected all the award winners, saying, "I think it is to endure the long periods of pain for the happiness on this stage. I pay my respects to everyone who has been awarded today."

Subsequently, Song Kang Ho presented the trophy to the Best Actress winner, Turkish actress Mervey Dizdar. He also applauded while Dizdar delivered her acceptance speech.

Meanwhile, Song Kang-ho returned to the Cannes Film Festival again with the latest film 'Cobweb' by Kim Jee Woon. The film was selected in the non-competitive section of the Cannes Film Festival, marking Song Kang Ho's 8th invitation to Cannes.
