Actress Woo Jeong Won will be the new addition to the cast of the upcoming novel-based K-drama "Happiness Battle."

On December 2nd, Woo Jeong Won's agency Lucky Monster Entertainment announced that the actress will join the upcoming ENA K-drama "Happiness Battle." They also asked for interest and support for Woo Jeong Won's future activities. 

There are no official details yet on what character will Woo Jeong Won portray in the upcoming series. 

Woo Jeong Won is known for being active in works such as theater plays, dramas, films, and more. She made her acting debut in 2014 through the series "Big Man." 

The actress is currently gaining attention because of her excellent acting skills in the ongoing tvN K-drama "Under the Queen's Umbrella." Many praised Woo Jeong Won for portraying one of the King's concubines and a cold mother to Shim So Gun. 

Woo Jeong Won is known for being part of several k-dramas such as "Suspicious Partner," "SKY Castle," "WATCHER," "When the Camellia Blooms," "Catch the Ghost," "Crash Landing on You," "When My Love Blooms," "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," "Beyond Evil," "One Ordinary Day," and more. 

In 2022, the actress was busy with several guest appearances in the series "Green Mothers' Club," "Alice, the Final Weapon," "Café Minamdang," and "Today's Webtoon." 

"Happiness Battle" is a suspense thriller K-drama that will showcase the fierce SNS battle between mothers. They will destroy others' happiness to gain their happiness. The series will base its story on the novel of the same name by Joo Young Ha. 

The upcoming k-drama will be the next work of "My Lovely Sam Soon" director, Kim Yoon Cheol. The script will be written by the original author of the novel.

Woo Jeong Won will work alongside  Lee El, Jin Seo Yun, Cha Ye Ryun, and Park Hyo Joo.

"Happiness Battle" will exclusively air on the ENA channel. It will premiere in the first half of 2023.
