I've watched some cdrama, and notice when characters are typing on computer keyboard they are writing in latin characters (alphabet), only for those characters being resolved to chinese symbols.

Is this actually reality?

You can see the same thing in Google Translate.

Select Chinese > Type in 'wo' and you will see a list of characters come up that match the sound.

First one should be 我 = Wǒ = I/Me/Myself

I typed "hao" and there should be many characters to choose from

but there is only one suggested by google translator: 好

which in this case is not the one(s) i'm looking for: 豪 and 浩

google is not that smart...
