Does Advance Search not work properly?

I was trying to do an advance search with some genres included and adding tags, but it also shows the results that do not have the tags I included? Can someone tell me how does this advanced search works? Also, can we download the complete database with tags to filter through ourselves?

I think that it also shows items where the tag is hidden (not visible on main page, but when you click on "vote or add tags", you can see some additional tags).

When searching, you can also exclude tags. You have to do search first, then click to URL bar and add minus sign to the tag number you want to exclude. It is complicated, but it works.... somehow.
