ACTOR PROFILE OF Chen Zheyuan (陈哲远)

born on October 29, 1996, in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. He is the ML in Hidden Love, paired with Zhao Lusi who doesn't need an introduction any longer.

He started his career as singer and dancer, and got a "Yuan Bao" idol fandom name with his Weibo link ( 陈哲远-) reporting 12.233 million fans ( 粉丝1223.3万) in July 2023, even if he was not the most well-known "idol" since his debut in King of Pop in 2015. Food : in Hidden Love, we can see CZY wolfing down a hamburger, but although he is known to like meat (despite also playing a vegetarian Werewolf in The Princess and the Werewolf!), he is very diet conscious and once posted pictures illustrating 9 April days of health vegetarian meals among which his favorite was "scrambled eggs with tomatoes". His preferred foods are: Burgers, pettitoes (pig's trotters on) rice, stewed beef meatballs, steamed fish head with diced hot red peppers, sauteed bullfrog with pickled peppers. He can also cook chicken wings with soy sauce, and noodles. But he dislikes snacks and mustard.

After "Hidden Love", you can find CZY in this fantasy comedy (30 episodes on Youku) where he plays the role of the shape-shifting Beast kingdom king Kui Mulang, who needs to recover a pearl that the nearby kingdom princess Qi Pa (Wu Xuanyi) accidentally ingested, which can only be done safely if she falls in love with him and marries him. On the way, he is first to fall for her, of course, while the ebullient princess insists on not marrying and wanting to go home...
