Male here too. I watched japanese movies many years ago, but then stopped and watched mostly anime only. Recently after watching kdrama 'I am not a robot' I started watching dramas more. I like kdramas, but many are unnecessary too dramatic in later episodes. They start with great commedy and then transform to hard to watch drama(not all). So... I realized that jdramas are better for me.

Hello here, an other male from France fan of kdrama here. Seems that society is still gendered and romance who is a big part of asian drama is more watched by women. Hope it will change in the future
