What is the difference between Contribution Points & Profile Points??

How do you earn Profile Points?

Right! I just joined this year & already theres changes to 2 types of points.. I still don't get it ?

you can earn Contribution Points by contributing here (by doing editing) 

Points are actually "Karma Points", those are mysterious points, no one exactly knows how to earn them.
