Same doubt! He faked his death to take Babylon from the roots! He knew that once his after his death Bale must kill his niece, so took long term plan to take down entire Babylon from his niece back, so this pic indicates that he fought with Bale that led to season 2!?

Probably Yes. But the series is called "Shop for Killers." so next season will be about how they sell weapons to different organizations in Korea. And there will be new villains, but I think Bale is still alive. The wounds are from taking down Babylon, but Bale somehow manages to escape.

It's hinted many times that Bale can't be killed and is invincible, so I think (in my opinion) Bale will be the constant villain, while there might be minor antagonists like Lee seongjo. They can scale it to many seasons, it has potential.
