  • My Strange Hero

    1. My Strange Hero

    Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes

    9.5

    January 2022

The SML's mother was HEINOUS. She destroyed so many people with glee, even her own son. The ML was adorable (as always, such a fabulous actor and his crying in dramas is heart breaking to watch). The FL was kinda meh. I liked her but I didn't get attached to her. She was a good foil for Bok Soo's stellar personality. I felt so bad for the SML. As a viewer you saw all the reasons why he did the things he did, so you understood him on a level that the FL and ML couldn't. He got a decent ending, but I felt so bad for how he grew up, I wished his story had ended even better (despite the bad things he did). He's also a skilled crier and exceptional actor... and only 24! The two really smart kids from the Wildflower class had such a nice story arc... one being abused in the Ivy classes then being saved by Bok Soo, and the other being pulled from his shell after Bok Soo stood up for him at work and they became friends. It was nice seeing them both lawyers and friends together at the end, along will all the other Wildflowers.

  • Devilish Joy

    2. Devilish Joy

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

    9.5

    January 2022

Aside from his memory leaving at the most inopportune times, this was a cute and non-frustrating drama. I'm glad the ending was happy, but I would have liked to see him healthy rather than question if he ever started to remember things again. I wish the evil Aunt had a worse fate. She deserved FAR worse than she got. The cousin was adorable, so so so kind, and so so so dense at times. The ML was super tall, very handsome, and his voice was so deep my floor shook. The relationship was very nice as well, although he did the usual "in order to protect her I can't tell her anything about what's happening, or how my hidden plans will affect her life."

  • Mad for Each Other

    3. Mad for Each Other

    Korean Drama - 2021, 13 episodes

    9.5

    January 2022

This was surprisingly adorable, and the ML was such a ball of emotion. Quick to anger, quick to cry, quick to smile. He adored the FL and supported her except for a few brief lapses of judgement. It was nice to see him happy in the end, and the the FL came back, but I wish there was a more fulfilling resolution to their relationship. I'm glad they tied up all the plot lines, especially the drug dealer and the violent boyfriend (what a scary piece of trash, the video of him beating the FL, and the ML's reaction to it was heartbreaking). He was so angry, but he was a huge ball of fluff for the FL, and once again a drama made me really appreciate an older man.

  • Let Me Be Your Knight

    4. Let Me Be Your Knight

    Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes

    9.5

    January 2022

This show was very cute! The ML was adorably awkward in his personal life but so confident and untouchable in his professional persona. His trauma with his father and his failed album was quite sad to watch because he pushed himself until he broke. The FL was decent as well, not a total half-wit, and had the right amount of comedic moments. Wish there had been more closure with the SML and his unrequited love for the FL. The keyboard bandmate was the cutest thing EVER and his story with the bully was so sad. The bassist had a sad fate. I'm sad they didn't give him a happy ending with the woman he loved, but I also appreciate that they didn't.... it's more realistic that not everyone gets a happy resolution. This show got a 9.5 instead of 10 because of the open ending. I much prefer a solid resolution and ending. Also, Jun will be in Love and Leashes on netflix soon, which I'm SUPER excited for. He's such a fantastic actor and ML.

    January 2022

This was a short and cute web drama. The acting was good and the story was cute, although hard to follow with time jumps at times. I'm glad she got her happy ending with a guy that was far better for her than her cheating "secret" boyfriend.

  • School 2017

    6. School 2017

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    10

    January 2022

This show gave me ALL THE FEELS! The romance was adorable (although no kisses), there were no plot holes that were glaringly obvious aside from the evil rich kid never getting his just desserts and the 2ML didn't get a super satisfying ending. The FLs family was so adorably supportive. Her best friend made me a little frustrated when she almost turned the ML in and got all salty about everything. The ML was DEFINITELY boyfriend goals. He was so fun and funny and kind while also being tough. So fluffy and soft-hearted to the FL and his friends, but had so much strength and courage. Once he confessed and endured through the embarrassment afterwards he was SO honest about his emotions. He told the FL all the cute lines and flirted all the cute ways. He put flowers in her locker and told her that she became his dream. Ahhhh if only guys like him actually existed outside of the imagination.

  • Kiss Goblin

    7. Kiss Goblin

    Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes

    10

    January 2022

This was surprisingly adorable! I didn't expect to love this as much as I did, and I couldn't stop watching it. The story was quick and to the point, and the love felt like it progressed naturally. I'm so glad that they found each other, even if it was a year later. The ML did a good job of slowly showing more and more emotion as the episodes progressed. I enjoyed him in My Roommate Is A Gumiho as well. the SLS in that show was painful, so seeing him as a ML that gets the girl was satisfying.

  • Just Between Lovers

    8. Just Between Lovers

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    February 2022

oh my heart. Oh god. That scene in the last episode where you think he died... ugly cry. And then finding out that he didn't... relieved ugly cry. This show was touching, stressful, healing, sad, happy, and all the other feels from start to end. The terrible life that Gang Doo lived after the collapse was SO SAD. I can't imagine the trauma of being trapped under a collapsed building for 7 days, watching the girl get rescued, watching the boy die and then being haunted by hallucinations and his voice. I'm so glad they got their happy ending to make up for how hard he lived. The only part of the story I wished was shown was what the actual memorial looked like when it was finished... and what Gang Doo did with the money he borrowed from the loan sharks. The FL was strong and smart, even though she had heaping amounts of survivors guilt. The SML was fantastically non-problematic. He was kind, smart, and a gentleman even though he was going through his own problems.

The story focused on the healing of their trauma as they fought to live a normal life while overcoming the extreme guilt of being alive and finding happiness, so as Sang Man said "To someone who doesn't know darkness, there's no light for him either."

  • Ending Again

    9. Ending Again

    Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes

    9.0

    February 2022

This was a short and sweet little drama. It was engaging and quick to watch. The relationship between the FL and the ML that she married was adorable in the little flashback snippets. Even though he seemed cold at first he was actually quite a marshmallow and so sweet in his interactions with the FL. The final episode showed a montage of their living together and it was incredibly adorable. In the end scenes that showed her relationship with the SML it was sad to watch their relationship change over time... as all relationships do. But rather than put the effort in to make it work the SML walked away to study abroad after 8 years together... then returned and expected the FL to just be with him again. The new guy was definitely a better choice. And  better kisser.

  • Love and Leashes

    10. Love and Leashes

    Korean Movie - 2022

    10

    February 2022

Ji Hoo was such a marshmallow, BUT the way he stood up for Ji Woo and other co-workers showed that he was a good man that had strong convictions about right and wrong. Watching his interactions with female peers showed a level of respect and courtesy that I wish we could all see in the work-place from our male co-workers. I personally really enjoyed that we didn't get full-on sex scenes. There was so much intimacy shown even without them, like the quiet scene of Ji Hoo admiring the marks she left on his back after stepping on him, and her admiring him as he rested his head in her lap and she pet him softly. Jun Young's expressions while in the submissive role were absolute perfection and gave me all the butterflies!

Plus the kiss they shared was more intense and worth more than all the kisses I've seen in some 16-ep long kdramas combined.

    Korean Drama - 2021, 22 episodes

    8.0

This was very cute. There were pacing issues, and the ML had some strange facial expressions at times, but the acting from the FL girls and the friend that was cousins with the ML was excellent for a web drama.

  • Best Mistake

    12. Best Mistake

    Korean Drama - 2019, 15 episodes

This was forgettable. The traditional aloof ML turning into a marshmallow for the FL. Cute and short, nothing groundbreakingly amazing. Just a quick and easy watch.

  • Why Women Love

    13. Why Women Love

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 24 episodes

    10

    March 2022

I LOVE all the fluff this brought. The FL was strong and independent, the ML was a marshmallow right from the beginning. People comment on the ML's acting, which wasn't top tier, but it was his first drama as a ML. The first episodes were stiff, but by the end he was fine.  I gave this a 10 for all the squeeeeees it gave me because of their chemistry and how lonely I am hah. The villains were resolved quickly and the SFL was only REALLY annoying for a few specific episodes, otherwise it was intermittent. I'm glad she found someone calm to focus her attention on. The other couples were all nice examples of healthy relationships.

  • Next Door Witch J

    14. Next Door Witch J

    Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes

    8.0

    March 2022

This was fairly cute for a web series. Nothing revolutionary but also not bad either. The relationship felt rushed but that's expected with such a short, quick series. Forgettable.

  • The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim

    15. The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim

    Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes

    9.0

    March 2022

The ML is such a well-seasoned actor at such a young age. He was cute in this short little series! Having recently watched him in Doom At Your Service and Just Between Lovers I can truly appreciate his range. He was SO FANTASTIC in Just Between Lovers, although most of his role was as a teen buried in a building collapse. The role he played in TGSGDS was so light and fluffy that it was a nice change up from the heavy.

  • Touch Your Heart

    16. Touch Your Heart

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    9.0

    March 2022

This was alright. Both the ML and the FL were VERY innocent, and while that was cute, it was also frustrating to watch at times. It felt like one of them needed to be a bit more experienced or at least a bit less naïve because there was no balance. The supporting cast was cute and the other lawyer couple was funny but also VERY annoying at times. I still don't understand the allure of the ML actor. He's kinda 'meh' for me. The plot was rather 'meh' as well. Nothing was too drug out, although the villain was brief and quickly resolved and the SFL was also not truly a threat.  The redeeming quality for this drama was the cute fluff it brought. An easy watch on night shifts.

  • Forecasting Love and Weather

    17. Forecasting Love and Weather

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

    9.0

    April 2022

This show was cute but forgettable. I'm not sure how they made being weather forecasters so dramatic. They showed so many negative repercussions to an inaccurate forecast but damn.... here in Canada the weather forecast is right maybe 1% of the time and most people just move on rather than criticize the forecasters. I can check the weather app 3 times in the morning and each time I look it says something new and still be wrong all 3 times. The progression of the FL and ML from enemies to drunken hook up to frenemies to lovers was fairly smooth. I like the little twist in the episode where you think they hate each other but it's revealed that they're faking it the whole episode and are actually together. The cheating fiancé smacked a little close to home for me, so I hated that SML more than some people would. Watching him trying to be a good husband, then failing and trying to stalk the FL then actually putting effort into his new wife.... was infuriating. I gave this a 9/10 because I adore the actors playing the FL and ML. The side stories were kinda meh.

  • A Business Proposal

    18. A Business Proposal

    Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes

    10

    April 2022

This was an adorable tongue-in-cheek romp through all the best tropes, clichés, and rom-com plots that Korea likes to throw into it's dramas. It never took itself too seriously or too lightly, and paid homage to all it's tropey predecessors with style and class. I rarely feel this way, but 12 episodes felt WAY too short, and I wished it would just keep going for the usual 16 episodes. Don't get me wrong, the story isn't rushed or cut off, I just wish I had more hours with my favourite Archaeopteryx and his Researcher. I can't even count how many times I laughed out loud through this series, whether it be the intentionally daytime-TV styled over-dramatic filming of certain scenes or the awkwardness of a Jurassic dinosaur having a contract relationship with a woman acting as two very different people. Another unique feature was the way they paralleled the TV show the grandfather watched along with some situations happening to the main characters. It was an absolutely brilliant way to poke fun at it's own soapy melodramas that arose. The acting was spot-on, with just the right balance of levity and seriousness, . It's lovely to see how a good script and good direction can make actors turn into unforgettable characters that you'll carry in your drama-loving heart forever. The ML and FL had fantastic chemistry with adorable skinship and the SML and SFL were definite *Couple Goals*. The friendships portrayed between all the characters were also *Friendship Goals*, and their interactions were a huge percentage of the humour.

  • Legally Romance

    19. Legally Romance

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 33 episodes

    10

    April 2022

Once in a while a drama comes along that grabs you and holds on.  This show has been added to the very short list of dramas that live in my heart rent-free. It didn't follow the standard "overbearing CEO/overbearing boss" trope despite that being the overall premise of the plot. The acting of the cast impressed me, especially the FL  and ML. The supporting cast was also exceptional, especially the FL's brother for being such a new actor. The SML had fantastic presence and charisma. His use of facial expressions to convey emotions was seriously remarkable. He also made me fall a little in love with him - both as a fresh-faced university student and a jaded adult. One of my favourite aspects of this show was the brief 4th wall breaks the FL has while she talks directly to the viewers.  My only *very minor* dislike in this show is that once in a while it can be confusing when they're discussing some aspects of legalities, contracts, etc. For the most part all the legal jargon was toned down and easy to understand, but in the final 8 episodes I found a few of the discussions about the cases harder to follow. I also found some of the blur between the past, the 'second' past, and the actual current timeline could get a little too ambiguous about what was actually experienced by people that didn't relive the "second" past.

Oh, and that song you LOVE is "Fate 命中注定" by Wu Yonghuan  巫咏欢

  • The Oath of Love

    20. The Oath of Love

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 32 episodes

    10

    April 2022

This drama felt so breezy and warm from start to finish. The FL (or maybe the actress that plays the FL) is a little too childish, and she plays the same childish role in all her dramas. There wasn't a WHOLE lot of character development for her outside of her changed behaviour to her parents. The ML had SCADS of growth, starting from a traumatized and cold surgeon that couldn't actually perform surgery and ending at a funny, warm, caring, and kind man. He transitioned so naturally that by the end it's surprising to think what he was like at the beginning. His smiles gave me life.... and a hefty amount of thirst too. He was SO beautiful. The story line with the FL's dad was heartbreaking, and some of it was impossible to watch without crying. Overall I'd say the ML carried this show and is the reason it became such a good watch... seeing him transform himself was a joy to watch.

  • The Bride of Habaek

    21. The Bride of Habaek

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    9.5

    April 2022

I really need to stop trusting MDL ratings and comment sections on poorly rated shows. The 7.4 rating steered me clear for such a long time despite it being one of the first shows on my 'Plan To Watch' list. I can understand why some of the more critical watchers could give this a low rating, but I've also read reviews that scored the acting as 1/10. I've definitely seen higher rated shows with worse acting WAY more often. Overall this show was super cute and the fantasy element of it was super fun. I wish they had kept to the 'fate' story line, and how his powers came and went. Also, the ending could have been more defined... he could stay with her until she died.... did he stay young while she aged? Did he age then return to his youth once she died? Couldn't she have been made a minor god and went with him back to the water kingdom? They kept saying gods were "made not born", so she could have been 'made' into a god herself. Other than this I actually really liked the story. People complain about the ML being arrogant etc.... Bruh.... he's THE GOD OF GODS... spending his first time with humans. He's been fawned over for almost 3,000 years. He's allowed to be arrogant! But he eventually becomes all soft and clingy and jealous with a sprinkle of arrogance and it's sooooo squishy cute. oh, can't forget the ABS. Could clean laundry on those washboards.

  • Assistant of Superstar

    22. Assistant of Superstar

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 24 episodes

    6.0

    April 2022

Absolutely forgettable. I just finished this and I can hardly remember what happened. Plot holes a-plenty. Cute story but the "I'll protect you by not telling you anything" trope is getting  a little old. The ending left a lot to be desired. It would have been nice to see them get engaged or married or something. I hate that he went back to the company that treated him like shit. The FL's cheating ex boyfriend was scum that dropped her as soon as his education was done (her dad was his professor) and went for the FL's best friend that was rich. The ML's best friend's trauma was pretty intense with the raped/murdered ex.... and the girl chasing him into oblivion was so annoying that I had to skip all their scenes. I hated their storyline and I usually NEVER skip scenes.

  • Unforgettable Love

    23. Unforgettable Love

    Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes

    9.5

    April 2022

Cute and fluffy! Good kisses and the ML actor always delivers a very cute performance. Sadly, the nuances of this drama were forgettable. The FL didn't do much in the way of being a psychologist, she just played the live-in girlfriend until the kid sorted out his own issues. The kid was definitely the real star of the show and made my dusty old ovaries act a fool for a bit.

  • Rainless Love in a Godless Land

    24. Rainless Love in a Godless Land

    Taiwanese Drama - 2021, 13 episodes

    10

    May 2022

This was ridiculously beautiful, with a very good message about what we're doing to our planet.... but without being too aggressively in your face about it. The plot twists were unexpected, especially the rain god being an image and representation of the creator god. I wish the FL had been able to keep her memories.

  • On Your Wedding Day

    25. On Your Wedding Day

    Korean Movie - 2018

    9.0

    May 2022

This was cute and sad. Definitely a mix of rom-com and melodrama since they don't end up together in the end. I felt so bad for the ML because of how much and how long he loved her, and all the work he did to be with her. The scene where they were hiding from the teacher and he ended having an 'oops' in his pants from her rubbing up against him was *golden* haha

  • Meeting You Loving You

    26. Meeting You Loving You

    Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes

    8.5

    May 2022

I really wish that, rather than going down this whole supernatural powers, illness, coma, fake death, amnesia plot, they could of just left all of this out. The ending would have been significantly less messy and frustrating if they just made the main conflict about dealing with the business rival and sorting out their past. The cute scenes were good fluff, and the ML was SUPER gorgeous. The Doctor best friend and the lawyer SML were shadows next to him. Boy also looks like he's packin' some heat >.>

  • The Sound of Magic

    27. The Sound of Magic

    Korean Drama - 2022, 6 episodes

    10

    May 2022

This story was absolutely beautiful and also absolutely heartbreaking to watch and the finale made me cry a lot. It focused a lens on poverty, high expectations of students (from family and from school), mental health, stress, and what's "real" in the world. Watching the two teens stumble their way through life, looking for answers that no one was willing to give was hard to see. Then Ri Eul appeared, willing to help and support them. At first Ri Eul seemed a little... creepy? Odd? Strange? and then you started to like him for the things he did for the FL. Not long after you start to like him they throw him into suspicion of murder, violence, and give him a "crazy" label. It was sad to watch him realize that no one believed him, and then when the girl came to him and told him she did... ahhh the look on his face when he knew someone was there to help him as much as he was there to help them. In the end when he was redeemed and it was shown that the gross store owner was the one that killed the girl and did the muggings it was even more of a relief that there was faith in him. His back story as a student was so goddamn heartbreaking. I wish a little more had been shown at the end... Knowing where Ri Eul was after disappearing, knowing what the teen ML was doing after he dropped out, maybe seeing him and the FL continuing their friendship/relationship... Also, Bella the parrot was hilarious, and when she died it was heartbreaking, and when the FL watched him cry... :'(

  • Shining for One Thing

    28. Shining for One Thing

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 24 episodes

    10

    May 2022

Holy shit. Holy shit. HOLY SHIT THIS WAS AMAZING. I have major 'show hangover' and can't stop thinking about this show. It was SO well done from start to finish. Buuuuuuuut now I desperately need my own Zhang Wan Sen, and no men here are going to live up to the perfection that was HIM. I will say.... I HATE open endings, so I'm finding the ending frustrating. There is, allegedly, a movie being made and is set for 2023, but who knows if it will even be made, if the plot will give some closure, or if we're left wondering if the ML was alive, dead, injured, in a coma, overseas working, or hiding from the gang. I NEED ANSWERS!

The love story between Zhang Wansen and Lin Beixing is very touching, if I were to use a word to describe it, their love is eternal. No matter what time and space, they would always eventually find each other and save each other from whatever issues either faced. Zhang Jianing (Lin Beixing) and Qu Chuxiao (Zhang Wansen) did exceptionally well here! They added so much emotional nuance in the character, that makes the characters feel real so vivid to the audience. In addition, there is depth and richness from both the characters, each of their story and development arcs is also fleshed out. Not only the main characters, the supporting characters also did very well! Mai Zi is one of the characters I really applaud for, as a character he always does his best to protect his friends, even if he suffered physically and mentally.

I'd like to think this is a possible plot point: Zhang Wansen didn't die, he's comatose and brought abroad by his parents. Years later, he woke up. But knowing that Lin Beixing is about to get married to Zhanyu, he doesn't come back. But he has the opportunity to time travel with Lin Beixing again - this explains why he always predicted the exam questions correctly and how his speech is exactly the same with what happened in the future, because he was from the future

  • Crush

    29. Crush

    Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes

    9.0

    May 2022

The ML in this was fantastic! He's a pop singer that has only filmed 2 dramas, and he was playing a blind man... and it was believable! The FL was ultra annoying for a huge part of this show. She was in psychology but couldn't assess herself or the people around her with any type of skill. The Aunt had more insight into the ML's actions. She did some really stupid shit throughout the whole show. The ML was a breath of fresh air. He had that typical "CEO" personality they like to give men in CDramas, but he was also sweet and fragile at times too. I liked the story but I found some parts got drug out and then other parts moved way too quickly. The final episode was a bit packed with quickly moving plots that didn't really need to happen. She's pregnant, the world finds out who Yi Jin is (which was never mentioned or resolved beyond that), she almost loses the baby... They also threw the autistic boy in there for some reason. Then it shows them walking with their own kid *some* years in the future. I wish they had fully resolved the psychosis of the FL imagining her friend alive and well for 3 years after she died. They didn't explain that well at all. Otherwise this was a cute drama with some sadness but a lot of lightness too.

  • Ase to Sekken

    30. Ase to Sekken

    Japanese Drama - 2022, 9 episodes

    6.0

    May 2022

This was the weirdest show I've ever watched. I decided to try out some Japanese dramas and happened upon this strange creature... The story was -ok-, although a bit strange. The acting was atrocious. Then there was the "bed" scenes... I've never witnessed anything weirder in my life.... They hooked the actors up to smoke machines, had strange music playing while they giggled and skipped around a room filled with fog. it was almost like something out of psychological horror movie.

  • Master of My Own

    31. Master of My Own

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 32 episodes

    9.0

    May 2022

This was an alright show. It was very long so a lot of the plots got drug out and became very forgettable. The ML was the traditional cold CEO that was always mean to his subordinate, but then you see he does a lot of the things to keep her as his assistant, and then later to teach her and build up her skills. Parts of this reminded me of What's Wrong With Secretary Kim. The majority of the story focused on the FL becoming a competent venture capitalist.

  • Love Unexpected

    32. Love Unexpected

    Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes

    8.0

    May 2022

Cute but forgettable. I don't really like the actress that plays the FL so I struggled with how I felt about the FL herself. The plot was 'meh' enough that I don't even remember how to explain it or whether I liked it or not.

  • Shanai Marriage Honey

    33. Shanai Marriage Honey

    Japanese Drama - 2020, 7 episodes

    7.0

    May 2022

As usual with Japanese dramas this was very short so the story felt rushed and incomplete. The ML was a bit of a tease, and he was really attractive so this was easier to watch, but the FL was silly and annoying, so the second-hand embarrassment was STRONG. Not much else to say about this one.

  • Shadow Beauty

    34. Shadow Beauty

    Korean Drama - 2021, 13 episodes

    10

    June 2022

For a quick little mini-series this was actually very good. The struggles of the FL regarding her perceived lack of beauty were very relatable. I like that she made friends with the guy that had originally talked about exposing her secret and they became allies in taking down the girl trying to steal her second identity. The ML that came back in the end was too adorable because you could tell he actually really liked her, even though she dropped him due to a misunderstanding after she manipulated him to see "what he was like" when asked for dirty photos from her influencer account.

I had originally put this on my "dropped" list because the first couple episodes made me SO uncomfortable with the FL and the second hand embarrassment she gave me, but then I saw some edits on instagram that showed some mo9re of the story and I decided to give it a try again.... It was actually quite cute after getting past those first 2-4 episodes. The ML was adorable and such a squishy fluffball.

This was 'meh'. Short and too fast-paced, but definitely more mature than some of the other Japanese shows I've watched. I liked that they showed it from the ML's perspective at times and you got to hear some of his inner monologue that showed he wasn't quite as 'put together' as he appeared.

How do I even begin to describe this show... It's impossible to sum up my feelings. Shining For One Thing and this show were very very similar in a lot of ways. The ML's were the absolute best of men in both shows and the ML in this show was beautiful inside and out. The complex plot is handled extremely well, the drama answers the questions it raises but manages to keep you in suspense right to the end. Despite the fantasy plotline, the detailed and rich characters make the show feel amazingly real. The directing includes so many little details that not only draw us into the mystery of the time travel, but hint at the more overarching explanation of what is happening. There are nice little symbolisms, like the red earbuds that the leads share at times, which creates a red thread linking them. There are also many conversations and dreams that we see early on that take on new meaning as the story unfolds, giving a sense that all the details matter... there's no filler here. The writer wittingly keeps us guessing the true identity of the two leads, especially the male. They both have a pseudo identity who is a mix of past and present identities. There are many deep topics covered in the drama such as same sex attraction, suicide and murder.

This little scene was hastily put together by the creators as a thank you for their international audience and I couldn't be happier. It continues a few years after the ending of Someday or One Day and gives a short glimpse of what awaits our characters in the future. It's fulfilling and heartwarming. I do know that some might find it bitter, but I'm glad that the writers stuck to the logic of the original world and served justice to all the characters. We get to see our favourite characters once again. Though, I still don't know how certain events will work out, it still gave me some sort of hope that everyone I cared for were off to a brand new start.

"The show takes place between the contrasting vistas of a quiet countryside, namely Sanpo of South Korea's South Gyeongsang Province and busy metropolis of Seoul. The show follows the life of three 'Yeom' siblings who are enervated of the sameness of adult life and their mysterious neighbor 'Gu' who is always by himself. As life happens to these people and the ones surrounding them, they set out on a prolonged and endless road, seeking liberation and eternity. "

I wasn't invested in the older brother or sister's stories at all. They irritated me more than anything, and I couldn't relate to them at all. The youngest sibling was my person, and her love story (although it wasn't the main plot of the story) was quite beautiful. Mr. Gu and his mysteries; aahhh! What a personality and what a development. The way he walks, carelessly and as if it's tiresome to even move, the way he stretches his entire body & neck in order to avoid what's happening around him, and staring up the sky aimlessly, and his facial expressions, that includes reactions to what he's told; I am mesmerized how all of these transcend into a feeling of admiration and respect to this character. He was indeed full of mystery; talking less, remaining by himself and drinking all day, it was crystal clear that he bears something heavy in his heart. Yet, stupefyingly, he inspires others, makes others think highly of him and uses no effort in allowing everyone fall for his aura. And on that note, Mr. Gu is the new crush of millions" including myself.

'You are already the rabbit who has seen most stars'

This show had great acting from both leads with sizzling chemistry, with no external problems, stupid misunderstandings,  or conflicts, and has a portrayal of a very healthy relationship. The story and characterization are realistic with witty and mischievous dialogues. Inspirational story gave some important life lessons but still managed to remain humorous and fluffy in general. The show was focused on leads, so the screentime doesn't get distributed to supporting roles or any side couples. There wasn't any overdubbing, and the actors were using their own voices.
This show had so many sweet and heart-fluttering moments! There were no annoying, and unrealistic, over-the-top characters. The lead characters were incredibly likable and enjoyable to watch, even the narcissistic tendencies of both leads was done with humour and tongue-in-cheek naughtiness.
Many gaming-related scenes in the start and aerospace-related scenes in the middle part of the drama. These parts were hard to stay engaged with at times.

Yang Yang is one of the most beautiful people to ever exist. I don't know how a man can be SO PRETTY.

The show was actually really good up until immediately after the wedding. From when they went to jail until the end it just went to shit. Not much is explained and no one has a happy ending. The ML is super hot - his voice is TO DIE FOR, and his fox form was crazy adorable.  The threesome of her friend and his friends/underlings was also FANTASTIC until the final episode. They were such an adorable dynamic and provided so much comic relief. The more 'modern' of the boys was my favourite, he was so bubbly and dynamic. It's a pity they would be foxes for the rest of her life... I wonder if they are 100% aware of what's going on as a human would understand, or if their base nature of being a fox was in charge. Would she stay single for them or would she keep them as 'pets' while she moved on with her life? SO many unanswered questions. I liked the villain until he got all rapey and murdery. The ex BF and ex BFF were a strange dynamic and they weren't really addressed at the end either. Overall 9/10 for the story up until the wedding. 2/10 for everything that happened after the wedding.

This was listed as a comedy but I literally fried like 42 times in the 8 episodes. The ML is a FANTASTIC actor. I fell for him sooooo hard. I wanted to crawl through my screen and hug him to death. The FL and SML were the most toxic fuckers around, but I'm glad she eventually started to change because of the ML being such a cinnamon roll. Adorable.

This had the most natural and authentic skinship I've ever seen in a drama. They were playful, kissy, cuddly, and adorable once they got together. The SFL and SML weren't terrible for more than a single scene. They were jealous but once they were told decisively that the relationship wouldn't happen they gave up gracefully. Overall the characters in this show were realistic and relatable and no one was over the top intolerable. Definitely a quality show for watchability!

Ehhhh... "old but gold" is subjective. This show was very dated, but I bet it was revolutionary in 2007. The FLs amount of crying and complaining was over the top. The ML was too cold for too long and his transition from hate to love felt too sudden, even for a whopping 24 hour long episodes. The second prince was very caring, but became too obsessed, and the SFL ballerina ex-gf was annoying in her obsession as well. She turned him down when he proposed then caused too many issues while trying to get him back. The second princes mother was Satan incarnate and I wish she had gotten more karma than a pitiful attempted suicide. The King dad was an absolute piece of shit in how he treated everyone. He needed to also have more karma than forgiveness. Despite all these flaws it managed to keep me interested from start to finish, so it gets an 8/10.

This was a bit of a feminist romp, although the 3 love stories felt incomplete. The focus was the personal growth of the 3 women, so it's understandable that the romance would take a back-burner, but I still wish the romances had been a little more complete. Kinda wish they had shown a "two years later" of the FL opening a second restaurant, the PR girl with her baby and baker, and the VP getting married to her personal trainer. The scene at the end where thay asked their past selves if they were disappointed in them and the kids said absolutely not was a bit of a tearjerker.

Cute for sure! Very fluffy and an easy watch. The ML is one of my faves since he was in My Fated Boy. He seems to do a lot of noona romances which is fine by me! This show gave me some REAL SML syndrome. The psychologist was beautiful and adorable. Seriously beautiful. Holy shit beautiful. The ML was like a puppy and was super cute, so it made it hard to pick between the two. So clingy and adorable. The story felt complete, although it took a LONG time for the FL to realize her feelings. That was about the only frustrating part. 18 episodes to sort out that she liked the ML...

I'm having a hard time letting this one go. I have MAJOR show hang over from this one. I just want to forget all about it and rewatch it like new from the beginning. Can someone invent that pill? I'd appreciate it a lot. The story was very well-rounded. There was only a couple parts that were draggy, but they were still important to the plot. The love was well developed and never felt rushed in any way, and it was TOO easy to watch too many episodes instead of sleeping. It's definitely in my top 5 favourite shows ever. I'll never get over this show and finding something that hits the same way is going to be difficult.

The ML, FL, and SML are all fantastic actors, especially Dylan Wang. He's SO BEAUTIFUL in this roll. Absolutely stunning from start to finish, first as an emotionless demon, then as a besotted lover. Absolutely golden in this role.
