In 1964, he started his career as an assistant director for "Haikyo no Kuchibiro" at Toei TV Production. Since then, he has been involved as an assistant director in many Toei Oizumi TV works such as "Tokubetsu Kido Sosatai", "Kikaider", "Hijo no License", "Ganbare!! Robocon", and "Tokuso Saizensen".
He studied under NodaYukio, Amano Toshihiko, Konishi Michio, Yoshikawa Kazuyoshi, and other directors who shot many action and detective shows. After a career of less than 20 years, he was promoted to director with "Batten Robomaru".
He made his movie director debut in "Gekijoban: Kamen Rider Hibiki to 7-ri no Senki" (2005). Edit Biography
