Song Seung Hyun is a South Korean musician, actor and former member of F.T. ISLAND (에프티 아일랜드). He graduated from Eunil Information Industry High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Practical Music and Vocals from Kyungbok University. He made his debut in 2009 as the band's new guitarist, vocalist, rapper, lyricist, and composer with their mini-album "Jump Up." He replaced departing member Oh Won Bin.

On December 24, 2019, he announced via his Instagram account that he left the group and their label, FNC Entertainment, to start a new career as an actor. He joined WOORIDLE Company in early 2020, and later that year, he enlisted for mandatory military service. He was discharged on October 31, 2021, and had a role in the drama “Oh! My Assistant” and in several musicals such as "Jack the Ripper" and "D'Artagnan" and even a theatrical play. He left the agency in late 2023.

On February 15, 2024, he announced his official retirement from the entertainment industry and his plans to potentially move abroad and begin a new stage of his life as a non-celebrity.
