My Dearest is giving me the vibe of Empress Ki.
Both shows highlight strong lead characters and the main trope: men vs. powerful evil
In both stories, the couples are separated due to the internation's conflict as well.
Empress Ki has a lot of palace conflicts as well as swordfighting, and battles between countries. Also here we have a female protagonist who really stands up for herself and her comrades.

If you enjoy Tomorrow and Goblin, there's a high chance you'll enjoy Hotel de Luna. Both of them offer a high-brow fantasy storyline and high-quality cinematographic production. I think fans of either would just absolutely eat up the other, they're almost like a pair.

These shows use past lives trauma and grudges for their plot. There were incidents in the past that needs to be resolved by the female lead's choice in the present day.
Hotel del Luna has an episodic style, See You in My 19th Life focuses more on the main lead's relationship.

In both shows, our main male lead is so blunt, smart, and quirky. There are some scenes when I just enjoy him talking our his logic and thoughts! He cares about his female lead and his expression shifts is very unique and endearing! I love them both! I think you can enjoy the same level of comedy from watching them interact with other characters, particularly his girlfriend.

This movie brings me back to my Reply 1988 days! They both highlighted family and friendships. Both are character-driven shows, with captivating characters who kept me invested to keep me watching throughout. Both shows really make me hungry because they both feature a lot of delicious food, cooking, and eating together. Little Forest is short and sweet (only 1 hour 40 minutes), while Reply 1988 is much longer (20 episodes, each being 90-120 mins). Since they're both so lovely and peaceful, you might want to give them a watch!

Also, Ryu Joon Yeol played in both dramas?! Just when his character appears in Little Forest, I remember Jung Hwan instantly!^^

Somehow Warrior Baek Dong So left a similar impression on me as Weak Hero Class 1!
If you like action and heart-wrenching friendships, then these dramas are for you! The fighting choreography is some of the best ones I've seen.

Weak Hero Class 1 is a high-school drama, and it revolves around bullying and childhood trauma, while Warrior Baek Dong So is a historical/sageuk drama, which of course has a lot of political turmoil, assassinations, and sword fighting.

Even though the genre is completely different, both are dramas that highlight loyalty and betrayals, both are not romantic either. Both are great quality shows that might make you fall in love and shed tears for the characters.

Both dramas have several external conflicts that prevent our OTP to be together.
Both female leads are cheerful and hardworking.
Both male leads have chances of 'spying' on the female leads.
Both OTP are lovely and romantic and make my heart flutter^^
Both stories happen during the winter season, so you'll see romantic snowfall dating.

Both shows are binge-worthy, short dramas! They are both full of metaphors and small details that you will appreciate upon rewatching :)

Themewise: Both leads in this drama have illegal secrets that they constantly trying to hide. They both underwent downward arcs throughout the story (their mental health and confidence are better at the start, then decline towards the end). So, if you like one, you better try the other to get a similar sensation.

In my opinion, Extracurricular has a faster pacing and the final is more epic. Anna has better fashion and scenery.

*Bonus: Both shows feature burning cars!

Both female leads are cheerful and work hard for their living.
Both male leads are lonely and isolated guys. He has a flaw that is cured by the female lead. Their houses look similar to me :D
They both have similar chemistry and longing moments.
